where's that aliyev troll?

Appareantly he only shows up when a disaster hits Azerbaijan.

I think our government should rethink about the villages and tries to Retrofit the houses there .

One of the most important problems in Iran (after revolution) was an unexpected migration from villages and small cities to major ones which made the villages and farming kinda unimportant and decreased farming and Livestock . Hope our government works on it and spend more budget and time on villages .

I've been in Turkey and close to the Azerbaijani borders . unlike Iran , their villages were pretty active and most buildings were Resistant or built recently .

Long Live Iran

Azerbaijan has a small pop'n so they can waste their oil money on subsidizing small towns and villages. Turkey does it the right way and b/c of their economic and political system there's an incentive for small towns and villages to be productive which in turn makes these small towns and villages more developed in the long-run. In Iran, for a long time, the policy was to be like the arabs and buy out people with subsidies made possible with oil money (it still is the case in most cases). That has made people feel like they're owed something all the time and there's no incentive for them to work. On top of that our economy and political system makes it impossible for the avg person to do much with his life. We can't trade with the outside world b/c of the sanctions and economic system is a pseudo capitalist system (it's more socialist than capitalist) and not a proper free market economy.

When we fix the political system and economic system, the villages and towns will automatically become great places. In every country with a proper free market economy, the villages and towns are self sustaining and require little govt help. The big cities are actually the ones that need most of the help in developed countries with proper economies that have developed free market economies based on capitalist ideals instead of Soviet and socialist ideals.

Isnt allah all mighty was also responsible for the earthquake?

Who is responsible? that's the question!

The world has been created on laws. Quake is one of those laws. The dynamic earth needs quake as part of its formulation. It is not acceptable for me that some consider quake as a reflect of human behavior! There were quakes on earth much before than humans!

It is a shame that for my nation, still, cok-and-bull stories is much popular than science. This is hard to fix in case a government emphasis those beliefs to take the advantages.

When we do not want to respect those laws, then we should accept the consequences. This is why a small quake kills hundreds in Iran but a huge quake in Japan has no casually! In information age, west names those laws as science and most of religious extremist hate science because they think it is a western bullshit!

In my opinion there is only one responsible, the one who does not respect the laws.

and I did not talk about lawmaker to allow atheist enjoy the text! ;)

That is sad to see. May the deceased find eternal peace in the world Beyond.

What is the reason that Iran suffers so many earthquakes from? Is it because it is situated on a continental shelf like Japan is?

Several different fault lines cross each other in Iran and they cover 90% of the country. Iran is literally all mountain. Almost all people in Iran live on mountains even if they don't realize it. For example here in Vancouver, the so called "peak of Vancouver" is only 1200 meters above sea level (Grouse Mountain), while the city I grew up in (Shiraz) was 1500 meters at the lowest lvl and we're not even talking about mountains of Shiraz!! It's so funny how people here in Vancouver go up on top of Grouse Mountain as if they've accomplished some feat while back in Iran anything below 2000 meters is considered pretty much as low ground lol. In general the whole country is a mountain.

The only habited low grounds are two small belts (one near the Caspian Sea and the other one in Khouzestan near the Iraqi border).

Check this out. I think Iran, Japan and Chile are the only three countries where the whole country has major seismic activity. Unlike Japan and Chile though Iran is a big country so you could say Iran in some ways is to most earthquake prone nation on earth. Turkey is pretty active too, but they have some yellow goin on. Iran is all red lol
