@JonAsad, there is a reason why I posted about Kolkata Airport in this thread.

Kolkata Airport was awarded as 3rd worst airport in the world in 2013. ahead of Islamabad (4th position)

This year Kolkata Airport is awarded as best improved airport in Asia Pacific. it took three years to build new airport in Kolkata.

I wanted to put forward the point that the there is no reason that Islamabad airport will be obtaining this award in 2016 when new airport will be in operation.
