You certainly cannot get GAS from other nations as cheap as from Russia. Even if you get, then logistics cost will be higher. Either way common citizens have to pay more and the gas will cost dearly. This is simple Economics my friend.

Turkey pays the highest price to RUssia... To compare, Turkey pay 250$ to Azerbaijan, 350$ to Iran and 450$ to Chine...

Russian gas pipeline comes through under the sea, whereas the Iranian one comes through land... Where the logistics is High? typical Russian fanboy mind...

Buddy , pls ... do you know what is FOB, CIF , C&F etc.. especially the terms for oil and gas.

Say even if the exporter takes care of Logistics, will he do for free ? It will be seperate bill altogether on top of original cost.

those are costs associated with shipping , Turkey gets nearly all of its gas from pipelines to connect to the national gas grid. The only country that will be providing LPG is Qatar, which indeed might be more expensive but due to both countries being close allies, Qatar might potentially provide discounts to match the price of Russian gas.

Why make things even more worse for Russia by sanctioning Turkey?? Putin seems to have lost his mind on this one. I thought he was better than this(a good chess player nonetheless). Russia will be the one to come back renegotiating with Turkey mark my words. Economy at the end of the day trumps anything else. What's the use of military gadgets if your economy is in tatters??

I think Putin is more calculative more than us. EU sactioned Russia for a certain peroid. I believe its until December 2015. Then again EU (under US guidance) will review was the plan. Now it seems France and Germany going to support Russia. Either Putin knows world politics than we are . Let us see how it shapes.

Russia/Putin has been acting more aggressively, provoking/threatening all Eastern European/Balkans/Scandinavian countries. If anything we will increase sanctions against Russia if it continues with its current aggressive policies. It's very easy, if Russia wants sanctions to be lifted, then it better stop threatening eastern European/Balkan countries and halt its support/training/arming of separatists in Ukraine,Georgia and many other small defenceless eastern European countries. However, we all know Russia will not stop doing that,on the contrary it will keep increasing its aggression. lol so you can guess the sanctions will be extended.

Russia didn't join in ?? I believe you have to read history of WWII. Russia was arms, food and material supplier to Hitler before Joining in WWII. When Hitlor broke the agreement with Russia of mutual ceasefire and undertanding, it was then Russia Joined. Pls read history and the facts before commenting .
