And Stand ASEAN: ASEAN poised to become the next world factory

ASEAN is our third largest trade partner(after EU and US) with trade volume reaching $480.39 billion in 2014, up by 8.3% year-on-year. A lot of labour intensive factories are and will be moving to ASEAN countries without doubt. China-ASEAN are growing stronger.

VICE Premier Zhang Gaoli said yesterday that China and ASEAN members should make joint efforts to finish negotiations on upgrading the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area by the end of this year.

He made the remarks while addressing the four-day 12th China-ASEAN Expo, which started yesterday in Nanning.

Zhang urged deeper cooperation in customs, inspection and quarantine, certification, and information collection between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations to lower non-tariff barriers and ease bilateral trade and investment.

“We should explore new growth source of trade and expand mutual trade and investment,” he said.

China aims to elevate bilateral trade with ASEAN to US$1 trillion by 2020 and invest over US$100 billion in ASEAN between 2013 and 2020, according to Zhang.

“China is willing to work with ASEAN to accelerate the negotiations on the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership and boost regional economic integration,” he said.

I am very much a wake (drinking coffee is my repertoire, lol, i jest, i jest... ;) ). No but on a serious note tho, my friend, trade growth between Japan-China with ASEAN is predicted to grow all the more. And as per ADB and IMF predictions for 2015 till 2025 --- there is one country that is poised to grow at 14% per annum: INDONESIA.

Yes. Indonesia.

Second to Indonesia is the Philippines.

Third is Vietnam.

So calm down, cool down, be happy. ASEAN literally will be lifted up by collective growth.
I always tell you that Marx once said : "the social movement is a process of natural history". You can not change the proocess but follow and make yourself fit with it. If you are smart and make a right choice, then you will continue to survive, if you are not, then you will disappear...

You can continue to invest in none TPP ASEAN nations but you cant export your goods to TPP members :)

CNY doesnt devalue too much, unlike Japan,Europe,Kazakhstan
Don't try to argue with Viet in PDF.
Now, they have once again turned a good thread by @Nihonjin1051 into a TPP debate.
In ASEAN, ASEAN-China/SK/Japan/Australia trade partnership is much more important.

People argue the next is ASEAN or India.
Of course it's ASEAN,
1, proximity to East Asia.
2, way much better infra
3, efficient labour with adequate education
etc

You're learning English level eh. What grade proficiency level are you at now? Study hard, and remember, no to boys. Boys can distract your studies.

:-)

(have a look at this ugly bottle

Its not the bottle appearance that counts, its how tea tastes like that counts. Remember that.
