It should be known that China is not anti-Islam. Hui and Uyghur are just as Chinese as the rest of the 56 Chinese ethnic groups, the same as my own ethnic group (Han).

Hui and Uyghur have produced a great number of Chinese patriots and heroes in our history, I guess you have heard of the famous Chinese Admiral Zheng He, who was a Hui Muslim.

China will also need to be on good terms with the Islamic world, since that is the only way we can possibly counter against US hegemony in the next few decades.

China is not anti-Muslim, not at all. We are only fighting against extremist groups that form incredibly small percentages of the overall population, not against any specific ethnic group. I know you guys can understand our situation.

We have Pakistani Chinese serving in our armed forces,contributing to our economy (lol) and so on.

On topic : The author is absolutely correct our problem is that each govt tries to gain political mileage on the behest of the country. It's high time we start thinking and putting the country and its interests before ours own (individual gains).

Agreed Dear. I have noticed that Indians like tagging poster 'Zarvan' in every China-Pak thread on the very first page. And he comes in and gives them the very thing they are looking for. How pathetic is that? They are laughing behind our backs.
China-Pak friendship is the show-stopper of the coming age and there's a reason these people are shouting crap and want to drive a wedge between us.

It is a wonderful,glorious history and we are united.Pakistan supports China in every way and will continue to support her.They are also trying to project as if Islamic republic country cannot be trusted which is again wrong.In Quran we are taught to be friendly with those nations which are nice to us regardless of any religion.Some elements are spreading lies and propaganda so that we drift apart-but they don't know that our generations are raised with pro-chinese attitude in their genes

If Taliban's Islam is right, then Muhammad and his army may had killed everyone after conquering Makkah. Muslims even lived with Jews in Madina. Ottomon Empire had Jews, Christians and people of other religions too. So, stop listening to all those religious extremists who say that trade and business with Christians and Jews is okay but with Shias and Qadiyans isn't.

If any country want to make the century of its own, one question should be asked. Are the people of the country ready to work honestly with only developmental focus? If the answer is yes than there is a possibility to make the century that country.

Sadly Pakistan is becoming a client state of China, they will have pay toll to China for driving on their own roads, for travelling in trains in their own country, because those are Chinese. Pakistani markets are already flooded with imported Chinese products while killing any prospect of building their own industries, it has become a dumping ground for Chinese products. China is making profits, but Pakistan stands to lose in the long run.
