We got Su 30MKI specially made for us complete with a production line and ToT. They were ready to offer us MiG 35 with all the RFP's enlisted in MMRCA satisfied. We have PAK-FA and MTA not to mention BrahMos. We bought an aircraft carrier from them. We are given a nuclear submarine on lease.
How exactly is our relationship with Russia similar to pre-1990 era? Please explain.

How much cheaper would a theoretical pipeline from Russia to India be as compared to LNG?

Depends on gas price. At present prices, more expensive....LNG is cheaper.

They are much ahead,,we are just buyers,nothing else.

To become equal partners u have to contribute equally too.

And all of this was not necesary for spike up our defence industrial base.HAL was just assembling the materiald from Russia under ToT.

How are they responsible for the delay when we are not signing the contract??
