Habayit Hayehudi is waiting to see the details of the U.S. secretary of state's draft framework agreement for Israeli-Palestinian peace before deciding whether to pull out of the coalition, party leader Naftali Bennett said on Tuesday.

The thing is that Naftali Bennett or someone like him are going to replace Netanyahu. Every leader that comes is more racist and extreme. Israel is shifting towards the rignt and becoming more fanatical and fascist.

So is Iran, libya and Syria.

Even Pakistan is onthe verge of rabid Islamism if (god forbid) the army fails to nab the Tali-barbarians.

Im talking about people. The society in Iran is not getting more radical, nor is it radical at all. If you dont know that, you dont know the fabric of the Iranian society.
Israels population on the other hand is taking this gradual and constant shift.

What you say about Iran is true for Israeli citizens as well.

I have been there and I know that majority of Israelis are not like settlers.

Like I said, its a shift/trajectory. 20 years ago no one would have expected the likes of Netanyahy, Lieberman and Bennett etc rise to power.
No one would expected knesset members openly advocating for concentration camps for African "infiltrators" only to deport them back to Africa. Israel is a ethnocratic state that is getting more fanatical.

They are becoming more fascist and paranoid in a way which causes their ministers to make disturbing statements which of course don't reach US or European media. Had a Palestinian minister said palestine will stretch from the river to so and so...the reaction would have been enormous.

in 1978 no one would have expected that rabid right wing Islamists would take over Iran, Afghanistan, Libya etc.

Not a good idea to ignore our own house and point only to others,

If a Muslim country had forced Chinese workers to sign a contact forbidding sex with Jewish females -- even prostitutes -- in order to save the Jewish race, it would have been front page news across Western media for months.

This is similar with Arabs, I remember a case where an Arab married and Jewish lady and he was later charged for misleading her about his identity. I don't believe he mislead her though and I can't remember how she reacted to it but they were married I believe.

State Department issues travel warning for Israel, Gaza, West Bank - latimes.com

The State Department on Monday strongly warned Americans against travel to the West Bank and Gaza after violent clashes in the border area last month played out amid current peace talks. Section fronts

"The security environment remains complex in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza, and U.S. citizens need to be aware of the continuing risks of travel to these areas," the warning said.

The statement comes after violence erupted in the Gaza Strip last month when Palestinians attacked Israeli soldiers with rocks and burning tires during a protest. The Israelis later opened fire, killing one protester and injuring another.

The cross-border conflicts came during peace talks between Palestinians and Israel that began in July. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry visited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week and plans to soon present a framework agreement for peace in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, the State Department warned U.S. travelers about the risk of "small arms fire, anti-tank weapons, rockets and mortars" being launched from Gaza toward Israel. U.S. citizens should leave Gaza immediately, the warning said, noting that the area is under control of Hamas.

It also warned about potential rocket attacks from Lebanon in northern Israel, street protests in Jerusalem and potential protests and ensuing violence in the West Bank.

Americans should consider the following instructions for U.S. government employees in the region, the warning said: Personnel aren't allowed to travel to Gaza and most parts of the West Bank, and they must notify an embassy before traveling in areas around Gaza and south of Beersheva as well as in the Golan Heights. Some personnel also are prohibited from using public buses anywhere in Israel due to the risk of bombings.

........................

What the hell is this? Is the US giving another green light for Israeli aggression against Gaza and Lebanon?

What do you they mean by that? The area is governed by Hamas? So that gives them a legal justification to start murdering civilians and destroy much infrastructure and thousands of homes in the Gaza Strip?

Check this out guys and please respond about this.....

Regarding reconciliation and neighboring relations with Egypt....:

Hamas sees Dahlan as bridge to Egypt - Al-Monitor: the Pulse of the Middle East

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — Fatah's members of parliament (MPs) Majid Abu Shamala and Alaa Yaghi arrived in the Gaza Strip Jan. 21 for their first visit since 2007, the year Hamas assumed power there. Their arrival, the fruit of talks between the leaders of the opposing Palestinian movements, was also made possbile after Gaza Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh declared that leaders and cadres of Fatah who had left the Gaza Strip were now welcome to return. Haniyeh also announced the release of a number of Fatah detainees from Hamas prisons as part of a unilateral initiative to “enhance the reconciliation steps with Fatah.”

The two MPs are among Fatah leaders who had supported Mohammed Dahlan, the party’s strongman in the Gaza Strip who fell out with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. Their appearance in Gaza raised rumors of a rapprochement between Dahlan and Hamas behind closed doors. Suspicions were also stoked by the Islamist movement allowing Dahlan followers to work in several areas in Gaza during the past few months without direct surveillance, according to a source in Hamas.

This same source, who spoke to Al-Monitor on condition of anonymity, revealed, “Intensive contacts were made during the past few months between leaders close to Dahlan and the Hamas movement through Rouhi Mushtaha, a member of the [Hamas] political bureau. This led to a certain rapprochement between both sides and loosened the security restrictions on the members of Fatah in the Gaza Strip.”

The Haniyeh government's permission for Dahlan allies to work in Gaza does not seem to be a leap in the dark for either side. There appears to have been an undeclared understanding reached by Hamas and Dahlan, as reflected in the noticeable halt in harsh exchanges between the two camps via their respective media outlets.

The launch of a joint “social solidarity committee,” chaired by Abu Shamala and with Ismail al-Ashqar and Mushtaha, two Hamas leaders, as members is one joint undertaking that has become public. The committee will oversee the construction of a residential city in central Gaza funded by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to house freed prisoners. In the past, some of its other activities have included supervising the planning of collective weddings, covering university students’ fees and providing in-kind assistance to the poor in the Gaza Strip. The Gaza government has also allowed a charity run by Dahlan’s wife to resume activities in support of humanitarian projects, in particular in the refugee camps.

For his part, political writer Ibrahim Abrash said that the reason behind the rapprochement between Dahlan and Hamas is clear — to improve Hamas’ relations with the interim military regime in Egypt and the UAE, both of which Dahlan has developed strong ties with. Writing Jan. 27 on the Arabic Media Internet Network, Abrash asserted, “It seems that Hamas has felt that Dahlan can be its saving grace from its strategic, political and financial dilemma, thanks to his special relations with the UAE and Egypt and his stable relations with Washington.”

It is just common sense. You would have to be a pure idiot as an American to travel to Gaza and a 75% idiot to travel to the West Bank. Americans in these areas are just asking to be kidnapped for use as pawns by any number of groups, including al Qaeda wannabees.

There's no kidnapping in Gaza at all, lol. It's a very safe place as long as there's no tensions in the region. Only danger is having Israel attack. I'm American and I've been there plenty of times there are Americans in the Islamic university in Gaza...
