AN OPEN LETTER BY A COMMON KASHMIRI TO ALL INDIANS

The point is simple.

If you want to stay, you're welcome.

If you want to leave, you're more than welcome.
:smokin:

Nobody has exclusive rights to India to make such a statement. India belongs to all of the people who live in it, whether in Kerala or Kashmir. If such a statement is to be made then we may as well give Kashmir independence and break up all the other states into different countries. Indians (including Kashmiris) have a right to debate on any issue of dissatisfaction or else we may as well just close up our democracy shop and start a military dictatorship controlled state

Everything has and should have limits, even democracy.

Those of J&K who love India and wish to stay are welcome to stay and those who want to leave are more than welcome to leave.

...the land, though, is not going anywhere.

Well then, perhaps as a fellow Indian you should ask yourself what is the cause of the turmoil in J&K and start placing pressure on our government to address those causes instead of sending in more money for security control in the region. I am totally in agreement that since the 80's Kashmir has become a 'neglected child" of India. If we want to claim J&K as an integral part of India then perhaps we should stop treating it as an annexed state and start regarding it as an integral state. Do away with the article which sought to protect land rights and replace it with an article which prevents ripping off the people there by industries etc when they purchase property in that state. Industry and employment will hopefully create stability. Once the state is stable we can address the political and other socio-economic problems of the region. Right now however, we are in a way excluding Kashmir as a state which should be earmarked for growth and when the disgruntled people out there are getting brainwashed and recruited by radical foreign elements we say "go away if you dont like it". Poverty and economically and educationally deprived regions will make breeding grounds for radicals and seccessionists. Not only in J&K but in any part of India or the world. Address those issues and 60% of the battle in that region is won minus a single bullet being fired. The issue of Nehru's undertaking of a referendum is way past its sell by date. If India wants stability in that region it needs to stop governing that state like it is doing so until a referendum will be held. It just makes a joke of us and the people who live there

If i DO be an Indian , I would say yes ...i would have given this so called KASHMIR to whoso ever wanted it .... but but but after so many people have died for this and so many soldiers .... i WOULD never ever let a single inch of Kashmir let go away.... i would say ... do what so ever it takes.... but never give this land.... ek acer zameen khoo sakuuu huu , but ek inch na......bhaiyoo.... yee tho naak da sawaal hai na....

I would like to ask a straight question
Is P.O.K well developed than J&K
Only one person in J&K wrote this letter but people in P.O.K dont know how to write a letter.

Dear Kashmiri Freedom Fighter,

I am from Jammu region and no one from my region wants to be a Pakistani and i have many Ladakhi friends also and they also dont want to be a part of Pakistan. So the majority wants to be with India and what about the Kashmiri Pandits who were thrown away from Kashmir?

You see J&K is not the property of KASHMIRI MUSLIMS..it also belongs to Ladakhis,Jammuites,Kashmiri Pandits and Sikhs too..so why should a majority be ignored to please a minority.

You and your type of people are a minority..always keep that in mind.

90% Shia's don't want want to be part of Pakistan. Example - Shia's of Kargil, Dras Area

Don't you think same thing applies to Pakistan also.

Have you ever been to Pakistani Kashmir, have seen how people live there? They are not fighting with Pakistan for independence, on the contrary, they want their other Kashmiri Brothers to join them, free from the clutches of the Indians. Here is a video to see their life style in Pakistan.

An open question to this Kashmiri, whats so special about you guys, when 150 Million other Muslims can live in India, why can't 7.3 Million of you guys.

Instead of violence and killing by the Indian forces in occupied Kashmir. My Kashmiri brothers live in peace in Pakistani Azad Kashmir, in beautiful houses and enjoy the good life. We want all the Kashmiris to have peaceful lives, according to their own wishes, whether they want to join Pakistan or form an Independent Kashmir. We would have no Problems with it. But under no circumstances they should be held under duress and occupied against their wishes by Indian occupying thugs, who are killing them slowly.

But all Pakistanis stand with their Kashmiri brothers whatever they would like to do. It should be their wishes, nobody else should dictate them.

Indians should enjoy Kashmiris houses in Azad Kashmir, thats what freedom brings to you.

More like Indians should invite a foreign firm to come and make a dam in Indian Kashmir, which will submerge 100 villages and displace about 100,000 people. Many of those affected, will then be given a work permit to that foreign country as compensation, and those migrants will go there earn dollars/pounds come back and make mansions.

Win! Although Kashmiris would have to leave the "motherland" for which they have been jihading for.

I an Indian, am totally convinced that what we are doing is absolutely correct. We need to further remove the special status given to J&K and totally integrate them into India. People from all over India should have right to settle in Kashmir, buy property and make it permanent home. Once this is done, in a decade, there will not be any more Kashmir problem. Our politicians are stupid, they should draw lessons from China and do what China is doing in Tibet....we have been trying to be too idealistic..

That will absolutely solve Kashmir problem....
Hope this Dabba congress does this job
