An Indian lost in Pakistan, the Other side of India

. .
distinguish between brother and freind in a international relations context before using these words.

.
To be frank we have nothing to take with them... Pakistan to India is just like any other country of the world ... plzzz dont try to link us both with this brotherhood cr@p... we are neighbors thats it...

I am South Indian & i have no connections with Pakistan ... other Indian may call them brother but i will never be 1 among them...

we can be Friends but not Brothers...

Agreed totally.

I am a northeastern Indian and I have no connection to them. In fact, they rejected their history by converting to another faith that is not even of their own cultures (even if forced by invaders, still not justifiable when the rest of the class fought back valiantly).

If there is some affinity, it is there only between the punjabis and them and that too is only lip service.

i was reading bhagvad gita.it's like quran for hindus.you would be shocked to know what i've read in it.
it was clearly written that there is only one supreme almighty and if you worship any other god for your benefits then you would sinned.clearly there were no temples in vedic ages.people has distorted relegion to use them agains other people.i guess islam is also a good relegion but i think mullahs will destroy it like pandits destroyed hinduism.
see how blindly people in india follow others-sai baba used to say sab ka malik ek(there is only one lord and he owns you) and people made sai baba there one and only malik.they started worshipping sai baba :cheesy:

In the Quran it talks about a dark skinned Indian prophet who preached worship of one God. Any Indians want to take a wild guess who that might be referring to??

.
Teh ****? I don't ever want to go to India. Lolz

. .
Not more hilarious than the Abrahamic religions and their claims of human beings having existed for only 6000 years or so :D

I mean the abrahamic religions preach magic instead of evolution

I realize you are an ex Christian but you should not generalize. Muslims have many theological differences with Christian thought.

. .
Huh?? Both Christianity and Islam believe in Old testaments.. Am I right?

The main differences we have is that we Christians think Jesus is the son of God and You believe that he is just a Prophet..

Muslims do not believe in the Old Testament. We believe that the Jews once had an ancient text which was altered and the Christians had the injeel which was altered into the many forms of the bible you see today.

. .
Lol @ the article. It is very important, almost essential for bhartis to say they look like Pakistanis any chance they get.

but that dark skinned prophet told us to worship cow intead of rain god indra.

.
First bolded part: Its still inaccurate.

Second bolded part: Thats just an interpretation. Its got nothing scientific to it. Its too arbitrary a statement.

The Quran is meant to be interpreted. There is only one Quran every Muslim reads, any dispute that arises is due to the differences in interpretation. It is due to this that the Sunni, Shia divide occurred to begin with. His first statement was not inaccurate, how would knowing the exact date help make us better Muslims?? That is what is written in the Quran, whatever is not written here was left out because it would not help you be better Muslims. In the Quran in many verses Allah is called the lord of the universe, in Christian theology there was no such thing as the universe for thousands of years. The Catholic Church only recently accepted that the Earth is not the center of the universe in this past century.

I thought Hindus only respected Cow for all the provisions it provides. You guys can make up your mind or what??? In another thread the consensus was cow was never meant to be worshiped only respected but now you are trying to say that the cow was always meant to be worshiped.
