I too share your concerns. It is rather sad to see the 'great empire' of yesteryear reduced to such ugliness.

I understand their worry, as it seems the longer this conflict goes on, the more trouble they will be in.

We in Israel manager to cope with the threat of perpetual conflict without suffering as many seizures. I guess the Iranians are really worried about their future and that of their Holy places in Syria.

Palestine is under Israeli blockade and they kill each other often. But they are happily dancing with each other, how can this be possible ? Something is off here.

20% of all Israelis are Palestinian Arabs. Not every Israeli and Palestinian are killing each other at first site. That is a screwed perception. Even those that do not like each other or the policies.

I don't go around killing Iranians because of their meddling in the ancient and giant Arab world. Nor do I go around and punish Indian workers for being Hindus just because there are some Indians who happen to be both Hindus and trolls here and fiercely anti-Muslim and anti-Arab.

The Israelis and Palestinians lived peacefully for hundreds of years before the Balfour declaration. They will have to live with each other because none of them are going anywhere.

Most people are normal people who just want to survive and worry about their own small and big problems. Like anywhere in the world.

Likewise you Turks and Kurds living in Turkey are not killing each other at first sight despite being at war many times.

In fact here in Denmark I know Turks and Turkish Kurds working with each other in pizzerias here in Copenhagen without any problems.

Judea & Samaria (West Bank) is not under a blockade. They have fairly free movement, but some checkpoints remain - although many have been removed.

There is a lot of cooperation between the two sides in areas such as business/economy development and environmental issues. Also getting the Palestinian high-tech industry off the ground.

It is not uncommon for Israelis to mix with Palestinians. Thousands of Palestinians were allowed into Israel for Ramadan so they could enjoy the seaside (no sea in west bank)

There are regular clashes, but most of these are small scale riots.

About 19 Israelis and Palestinians have been killed so far this year - which is still too many, but one of the lowest casualty years so far.

It's with Gaza that the main problems occur.

Why should I not like my own people? Those people are just Arabs who happens to be Jewish. Or mixed with Jews just like the Jewish converts in Arab areas who mixed upon conversion. Jewish is not an ethnicity. It is a religion.

Yes, I don't have anything against Jews. My mother told me that my maternal great-grandmother is likely to be a Jewish Yemeni (just like the one I posted) convert to Islam.
