Exactly. I feel like Bangladeshis has lost mental balance these days. $11 million exports and they compare this miniscule company to Samsung with $250 billion in revenue. I mean have they lost their minds?
You are very wrong. When BD started textiles, the export value was very low at probably $5 million. Today, its export exceeds $50 billion.

So, please tell us what you can learn from this statement.

Lol. What stupid argument is this? Success in one sector automatically translates to success in other sectors? No wonder Bangos do poorly world over.

What I learned from that statement is you are no different to other Bangos in stupidity.

You cant be successful in sectors like software and electronics without spending billions on r and d. bd companies spend barely anything on research and development or innovation. Even educational institutions have very low emphasis on this. Just look how many patents filled by Bangladeshis. Its extremely low for 170 million ppl country.

Garments is very low skilled...most basic industry...by forcing ppl to make barely 100 dollar per month and offering deep discounts to wallmart or h and m...and u add that with ldc benefits bd was successful in underwear export. Not going to happen in software and electronics. Unless some major fdi and knowledge transfer take place. It will be very hard.

Go easy on the dude.

It(troll) is talking way above its intelligence and education level.

Sees a few "buzzwords" like FDI and thinks that this must be a good thing for any country to have.

Inability to think it through and realise that FDI may only be useful under certain circumstances due to not deep enough thought processes before writing posts on pdf.

As an example, can Mexico design and build cutting edge cars despite the fact that it has had many countries build their manufacturing plants there for decades? No as the core tech is never transferred across over.

Even the closest allies like USA and France do not transfer their core tech to each other. An example is the joint LEAP engine, where the core and high-pressure turbine is delivered in "black boxes" from GE(USA) to France to finish the complete engine at their assembly plant in France.

Yes a country will learn a little about the manufacturing process for FDI but it needs to put in the costly and lengthy hard work to be able to design and manufacture the technologies from scratch.

He is definitely a BNP exile. Probably had their Tariq era loot confiscated by AL goons hahahaha

Now makes money by selling property to thieves.

And then brags about it.

I can see why he has affinity with Hindu trolls.

They obviously share the same crooked character traits.

Going back on topic.

BD is doing exactly the right thing by limiting the FDI it takes in. It does not want to turn into the next Thailand where it acts as an assembly plant for MNCs and gets stuck on "middle-income trap".

Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City (BHTC) so far seems to be getting lots of local companies to invest and create skilled jobs in the Park.

Oryx Bio-Tech should be South Asia’s leading integrated human plasma biopharmaceutical group once its 300 million US dollars Oryx Plasma Fractionation Plant is built in BHTC. This will create 2000 well-paid and skilled jobs for locals.

With firm proposals the site should have 50,000 jobs by 2025(up from 19,000 in 2020) and this is just one of multiple sites that are either built or will be built this decade.

The pharma industry is going to move up the value chain very rapidly this decade both with investments like this and also the setting up of the API Park this year - last I heard the factories should be producing by this month.

Lol yes selling properties to bangla rulers who will make u suck dick and eat shit if u have balls to say anything against them or there families in Streets of dhaka. Just try and see what will they do to you.

Speaking from experience, obviously!

Now I see why you are so bitter towards Bangladesh!

You obviously sucked a lot of AL goonda dicks!

Which has made you bitter!

Uneducated half-literate hiding away in Canada thinks core tech is ever handed over by FDI.

Please do explain to me how a two-USPTO-patents-an-year country not exactly well known for producing researchers or engineers will develop "core tech".

I am very much interested in knowing.

Your ECI score wouldn't have been so pathetic, if your workforce had skills/ education anywhere near what you claim they have. . :D

BD is doing exactly the right thing by limiting the FDI it takes in

You're not "limiting" anything. No one is bothered about investing in Bangladesh, despite all the tall claims made by your government.

You don't even have the skills or the infrastructure to manufacturer anything decent at any significant scale. Heck, you even lack a decent logistics sector which is essential for modern supply chains.

Also his bitch "padma bridge dude" claim he went to some elite uk university lmao. So u better respect the butter chicken server.
