secret societies did exist during ancient times,,,,,,,,,mostly formed by people who questioned popular beliefs n searched for the truth through scientific means,,,,,,,they were well ahead of there times,n were considered as heretics.....
but i'm is highly doubtful of the 9 unknown men.............why.....cause of the books.only the first n d last books seem feasible for those times,but physiology,gravitation,light,cosmology.....naaah.

If so then these secret societies are full of selfish ppl who would go to any extent to achieve their motives.And thank god you and me are not members of such secret societies.
