Disputed territory according to who? even Afghanistan doesn't consider KPK or parts being refereed to as disputed. This haramzadgi is not new. I have been most vocal about this from day one for I can understand Pushto and I have listened to this haramzadgi from ANP and Pukhtoonkhwa Milli Awami leaders. Nothing new for me but for those who still defend ANP and PMAP anti-Pakistani haramzadey.

No sir, they are not dying breed. Greater Pakhtoonkhwa is their dream and they are slowly and surely inching towards it. Are you aware that Afghan -infested Peshawar was once home of Hindko people who have been systematically dislodged from there? If and when the census will take place in Pakistan, you'll be shocked to see the rise of one ethnicity.

Seriously ? I have section in my library dedicated to Afghanistan -- I've read almost all the definitive works that have come out since the late 1990.

I know several member of Think tanks who worked on and in Afghanistan -- how many do you know.

Last December I was in Islamabad and invited by the VC of a University who happened to be my boss long time ago. There I met brother of his son-in-law who happened to be a mid-career officer in Pakistan Navy. To my surprise, the mid-career Navy officer expressed his concerns over Durand's line and suggested that Pakistan, as claimed by Afghan Pashtoons, is part of Afghanistan or formerly Khorasan or Afghania. What? What the hell I just listened? I could not believe my ears hearing this from a serving mid-career Pakistan Navy officer. You Sir are underestimating the situation and you don't know what is being cooked. If this is the thinking of a serving Navy officer, you don't need to think too hard to guess what others are thinking.

I'll suggest you to check countless articles on balkanization of Pakistan.

Well if that is truly how members of the Pakistani armed forces see the situation -- Afghanistan will continue to burn -- the power equation is simply skewed in Pakistan's favor.

As your see -- Obama has not mad any formal announcement on the departure date from Afghanistan.

Afghanistan can dream all it wants -- changing borders requires modern implements of statecraft and military -- they can't maintain humvees

I don't know if you're based in the US -- but there used to be such life around everything Afghanistan. Projects, grants, military efforts, debates -- it's all fallen silent. There was a lot of anger at Pakistan (especially in the young officer core) -- but it does seem that things are changing.

It is almost heartening to see Pakistanis take the conversation back from the Afghans.

Twitter verse shows a totally changed Pakistani populace -- gone it seems are (for now) the meek Pakistani public -- today you have boisterous Pakistani netizens holding Amrullah to account. Three years ago it was a handful of us countering Afghan opinion and our calls to other Pakistanis fell on deaf ears -- today I was surprise to see eminent scholars such as Nasim Zehra beat the crap out of Amruallah Saleh.

With that the media debate has turned to deporting Afghan refugees -- this is a far cray from just a few years ago when the comment used to be -- these are our Muslim bahi -- today the cries of an ungrateful people perpetuate different fora.
