Thats the nature of Pakistani political system. I have been watching the dunya news poll where at the end they show the performance of parliamentarian of the constituency, it makes me wonder how much of the tax payers money is being wasted on them. Having a 1000 plus legislators is a waste in my opinion

Pakistan doesn't need legislators, it needs administrators.

They get pay and allowances for travel, medical and accommodation and god knows what else. Such a waste of tax payers money.
