What's new

Amir Khan (vs Paulie Malignaggi) shook Madison square garden!

.
Even if he's not Pakistani on paper, he is still Pakistani enough in our eyes. We don't want him to be any less thankful to the UK either, where he got the opportunity to train and become the best.

Yup man.

Hey i was very much impressed with the aamir khan videos and i just admire this guy.
But got few doubts which i would like to be cleared by "you"
When i checked his details he is told as a 3rd generation Pakistani migrant British guy who has never visited pakistan in his life time.( maybe his grand parents).

Amir Khan: “ My dream is to fight on Pakistani soil once, at least one professional fight. I am very happy to travel to Pakistan to watch the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto International Boxing Tournament, it’s a big success for Pakistan. I also plan to visit Gojar Khan and Rawal Pindi (he father`s old home).”

I want to know whether he can be called a Pakistani since lots of Indians even in their life time (for example Manmohan and advani) has been born and brought up in Pakistan and moved to india.. same is the case for Musharaff saab too who was born here in India.
Would a mere saying of I am this nationality first makes u qualify to be called him as a person from that nation.
I would like the doubt cleared by you my friend , because i find you a lot more sensible than a lot of members here.

Thanks

Last year Amir was chief guest in Benazir Bhutto Boxing Tournament in Karachi.

For some reason these indians care so much about Amir Khans nationality! Amir Khan might be a 3rd generation british Pakistani but he's still a Muslim and Pakistani descendant.

When Amir Khan was boxing Dimitry Salita he wore all green robe with all green shorts representing the Pakistani flag and nation while Dimitry Salita wore a black robe with the Star of David on it!

I guess it hard for these indians to digest it when we Pakistanis achieve a goal and make the image of our nation and its people look better!

That guy is a good fighter...probably the best around in his category.

But its hilarious to see Pakistanis getting all excited about him just because he's descended from Pakistani immigrants. One guy was excited just because Amir Khan was a guest at a domestic Pakistani domestic tournament! Seems like there's a real shortage of home grown heroes...

.
Why you become so frustrated over his reply to an your country mmber:disagree:

Because that involves our religion (a sensitive topic) and that nityananda is just a fake dumbo who was caught recently.

hw wuld u react wen some equates ur holy prophet with a criminal..?

So it better members from both sides refrain from religious things as it may inadvertantly hurt the others sentiments.

Shortage, what shortage? lol, we don't have any fake heroes like you do in bollywood and the entire india!

Amir Khan represents us Pakistanis regardless of his nationality, keep your bull***t opinions to yourself, at least we don't look up to fake bollywood heroes lol.

Smart huh? Refer to your previous posts; you bring bollywood into the discussion and then blame me for bringin in the entertainment factor?

Anyways, pointless debate. You can enjoy his successes as your own. Hardly my problem. Let me know when you convince him or his half-brother to do more than lip service for Pakistan.
