Why will india want a war? to divert attention from kashmir or domestic issues, the war would be the last thing india will want. 370 issue was a done in haste, and indians no matter what they say are in panic, yes they want to solve the kashmir issue, but the attention it gained through pakistan's aggressive foreign policy has really exposed india's ill planning, in the next few months the real test of the both the countries(specially india) would be how they mitigate this situation and come out of it peacefully.

As for false flag or war, the level of troop deployment in kashmir and current readiness level of IAF, the nuclear threshold would be so low, that india would have to go nuclear to secure its sovereignty, thats why indian def minister said no first use would be a abolished.

China's westernmost airbase Kashi has seen major upgrades in 2019, along with infrastructure, AEW&C,J-11,HQ-9 & UAV preaence at this base shows the true potential of the PLAAF and its capability in central Asia 500 odd kms from India and Pakistan monitoring CPEC .

I totally agree with you but apart from an Indian threat the real threat to CPEC in my opinion is coming from the states that have honoured Modi recently. I kinda think they feel threatened with Gwadar and CPEC and are overtly and covertly trying to sabotage it.

Pakistan should procure at least 2 squadrons of J-10C on war basis from China. They need to be deployed along side JF-17 and F-16s. India after getting humiliated on 27th February is just waiting for rafales to land. Once India has sizable numbers, they will try again to settle the score with PAF. We need to be ready and for that JF-17s along with F-16s are not enough. J-10s need to be inducted as well.
