It seems they are specifically targeting Turk defense industry. It should be noted how every major Western company has tried to thwart the skyrocketing growth of Turkish industry by stopping supply of Engines and other key components to Turkey.

Why does world still even listen to USA and other rich white nations??
Why do these sanctions still matter so much, especially since Trump has hurt American influence in the world so much.

What can Turkey do to retaliate?(I'm sure Western whities will definitely get an answer from Turkey. Turks won't let this go unanswered).

If they could sanction their NATO "ally" they would've done it already. Turkey does help america when their interests align, sanctioning them would completely push them over to china/Russia and America has already lost to many countries to them.

I think sanctioning Turkey will make it a stronger power for some reason.

Because in contrast Iran does not have the brain and economic power that Turkey has right now. Just as a comparison.

Turkey is also positioning to do away with the patronizing and demeaning Treaty of Lausanne. And start earning revenue from the shipping that passes through Kara Deniz and Golden Horn/Bosphorus strait. In that regard Turkey has the Mavi watan project in progress.

In my understanding Mavi watan project has canals that should allow for more ships to pass through easily. (Please correct me if I'm wrong. Also why is Erdogan criticised so heavily for it?)

All this scares the Western whities. Or at least worries them
