What's new

America is a Police state, people even get desturbuted during Gaming

.
it's called getting swatted.
who knows what the pranksters said to get SWAT involved//
could of said there is a maniac with hostages or whatever so they take the situation very seriously

believe it or not crime is lower than it was in the 70's here.
military has all these leftover toys and the PD pick them up.

cut off EBT, race riots, or some kinda national disaster then we would be see a police state/martial law.

does Russia not have a special police force??

.
wtf lol.

I liked the random terrorists win that came out in the middle when he was getting searched

Edit:
This explains things better:

Swatting of Colorado gamer’s office livestreamed on the internet (VIDEO) — RT USA

Indeed, Mathewson was being “swatting,” a growing trend in which a person anonymously files a false crime report, like a murder, in hopes of provoking the type of police response with the potential to ruin just about anybody’s day.

"I knew almost right away what exactly was happening," he told Denver’s 7News. "But I was still frightened, you know? Having some guns pointed at you isn't exactly the most common thing."

Shortly after the incident occurred, the Littleton Police Department confirmed in a statement that they were responding to an emergency situation at The Creatures office which turned out to be untrue.

“The caller claimed to have shot two co-workers, held others hostage, and threatened to shoot them. He stated that if the officers entered he would shoot them as well," the statement read in part. "There were no victims or any evidence that a shooting had taken place," police said. "If the investigation determines that today’s incident was a hoax, those involved will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

Well in that case, the reaction is understandable.

True, but nothing beats the CoD community it is probably the most toxic
I think in terms of toxicity it would be
1) COD
2) CS
3) LoL/Dota

I remember playing cs 1.6 back in school/college in a net cafes where you could scream at the guy sitting across the table...fun times

You've played Dota 2? How is it? I've recently downloaded it.
I can understand that the community is cancerous after being added almost every day by a russian phisher with a main who plays Dota 2.

Yeah, this is not really a problem of over-policing. You understand this is rival gamers calling in false police reports to get revenge on their opponents? Pretty despicable, and illegal, but hard to catch people doing it. Its been pulled on celebrities as well, just as a way to annoy people you don't like.

You use a VOIP program to call the police, spoofing the calling number to the number of the victim - so that to the police it looks like the call is coming from inside the target house. You make a wild claim "he's shot one person, and holding a gun on two more!!" and hang up. The police have no choice but to respond with full force. No one has been shot yet, thank God, but the guys doing this are serious asshats.

Dota 2 is awesome!

One of the big improvements in dota 2 is the anti toxicity system. Repeat offenders are punished quite hard - banned from chatting, or worse, they are forced to play with other people like them. If you really want to you can just mute everyone in the game and still be perfectly okay There are in game auto commands that help teams communicate without needing to type.

Also, choose the south east asia server while playing, lower toxicity, lower ping. But always expect some flame..this is dota after all :D

So our Russian/German member felled for a prank. He probably think The Onion is a real newspaper.

doesnt matter if prank or not the fact how the police acts could make you be killed with these kind of pranks.

I'm curious how you think the police should react? Someone calls in with a hostage situation, you want a single officer to go out and knock on the door politely? How do Russian or German police react when hostage situations are called in?

This seems like a problem you don't have in German and Russia because kids in Germany and Russia either haven't discovered how to do this, or because they are better behaved. I would guess both countries would respond to hostage situations pretty seriously.

ayyyyyyyyyyyye lmao

Do not expect any kind of rational discussions from this loser. I estimate his age to be 12-16 yrs. He is old and tech savvy enough to use a computer and navigate the Internet to find bad news in the US and post them here, but he does not have the intellect to debate the ideas inside those news items.
