I get from the article a positive that we must learn much from Western : supply chain or logistic.
Let have a look at long long queue in a China station, and you would appreciate the greatness of well managed multimodal transport.
1. USA is good at air passenger while they feel fast and safe with Japan Shinkansen.
2. Japan is great at Shinkansen and they are going to get the US contract to make sure the speed and safety in heavy load routes. By their turn, Japanese citizen could easily transfer to NA continental.
3. Transit would be a piece of cake, while it's the most headache problem in developing country. And it was support by the trust between allies.

That's so ambitious but based on some real facts. It's great to have the Just - In - Time or JIT for a multimodal transport.
It's a pain if you recall how you and your family spend whole day at an airport or station.

OT: Have you ever tried riding Shinkansen before, buddy? Ever been to Japan ?

Unbelievable !
Read the article carefully and use your brain to analyze the info please.
You can not post an article just because it has a catchy headline.

You try to mislead the others agagin.
What's the point of the picture you post ?
Japan and USA never have a train or flight delay?

We do have long long queue in China train station. That's because we have 1.4 billion people ,and most of workers choose to take a train to travel to another city, because it is very economic. And some of white collar like to take a train also , in case the distance is not very long. So there is no way to be uncrowded especially during national holiday.

.
Yeah. They don't often make riots at station / airport.

You don't need to worry about online bullying here. Everyone here are well trained thick skin keyboard warriors. Those who aren't will already have left after a few weeks.

And why did you leave in the middle of our intellectual discourse on Christianity and euthanasia in the other thread?

That's not the way to encourage an intellectual environment. :undecided:

There were some Viet members who said they could soon get nuke subs, aegis destroyer, nuclear bomb tech, etc, from the US. Now I know what source they got their news from.

The US population is tiny compare to us and they already have problem dealing with population concentrate in one area such as LA. Here is LAX. It is notorious for one of the WORST traffic and logistic airport in the world.
