Ambassador steven was raped before murder

actually sodomy is a very popular mode of pleasure in the muslim world. nothing wrong with it. its probably a way of showing superiority over another man. for eg. read many books on the ottoman emoire, sodomy was a statement of power. similarly look at anwar sadat trial in Malaysia. sodomy. also the earlier kings used to have little slave boys. why? they are perfect tools for sodomy and there used to be a sultans favoirite slave. every clue point to the popularity of sodomy in that culture.
So nothing surprising. nothing wrong either. of course it needs to be consensual then its ok if they think its alright.

I wonder how you determined popularity?

I've lived all my life in the Muslim world and I've only seen this stuff on the News. 'Popular' would mean one can see it happen everywhere by the majority or to the majority.

Its most likely as 'popular' as is the normal homosexuality rate of the world.

If only this prevailed on the hotheads and those misled by false pulpit bearers..and copy paste parrot Mullahs.
The best response was to ignore it.. and if there was to be a response.. the banning of the account should have satisfied all.
What possible could the US ambassadors apology or whatever change the opinion of people like Terry Jones or the maker of this film.
He wanted attention.. and most of the idiots in the world from the Muslim communities gave that to him.
The dog was barking.. and these idiots barked back...

None of these "mai ka laals" have the resources or the guts to take a ticket and shoot the guy .. so they respond in the only way to went their frustrations.. instead of using logic. Even though the appropriate response has been taken.
What would have been ignored and wasnt actually ever damaging to any image of Muslims....has now ended up with even more hostile people to Islam and made it difficult for those who try to bring people into the fold of Islam.

I thanked your post. You got it right as you often do.

Right up till the last part.

I guess that's what your faith asks you to as a good Muslim.

But don't blame the world for not liking it.

Resenting it.

And for resisting it. Violently too when things come to a head.

I skimmed through the movie. Its really not even a movie, its just idiotic. Anybody with a camcorder can make this in 1 day and just rant on abusively against the Prophet...

Its really, reaaaaaaally not worth the chaos and protest in our own countries. If anything needs to be done is politely write to Youtube to have it removed and if they don't, just quit on Youtube.

Thats what we decided to do yesterday at juma prayers..
Our imam asked people's opinion on the matter and we decided to raise legal issues on blocking the movie,as per British law..
We will write legal letters to Ofcom, and as a community to British Parliament.

In Pakistan PTA has promptly blocked the offensive content, which is a very good decision.

Instead of killing those who made the video, murder this good sir who speak Arabic and has been working hard for rebuilding relationship between the USA and Middle East for many years.

Scumbag murders.

I cannot imagine what these images would do to his family members.

. .
These images were published in alot of newspapers. Not becoming of a professional news agency.

Whatever the movie maker had done, why do this to the ambassador? This is really inhumane, and not Islamic, whatever way you see it.

There is another angle to it though. When a Muslim or Pakistani does it, the label goes as Muslims and the whole community, and the whole country is blamed. In this case though, interesting to see that instead of a collective bunch of people, US or the general population, only the producer/director is being blamed.

'It Makes Me Sick': Actress in Muhammed Movie Says She Was Deceived, Had No Idea It Was About Islam

The story of the Muhammed movie which sparked deadly protests in Libya and Egypt gets weirder. The actors who appeared in it had no idea they were starring in anti-Islam propaganda which depicts Muhammed as a child molester and thug. They were deceived by the film's director, believing they were appearing in a film about the life of a generic Egyptian 2,000 years ago.

Cindy Lee Garcia, an actress from Bakersfield, Calif., has a small role in the Muhammed movie as a woman whose young daughter is given to Muhammed to marry. But in a phone interview this afternoon, Garcia told us she had no idea she was participating in an offensive spoof on the life of Muhammed when she answered a casting call through an agency last summer and got the part.
The script she was given was titled simply Desert Warriors.

"It was going to be a film based on how things were 2,000 years ago," Garcia said. "It wasn't based on anything to do with religion, it was just on how things were run in Egypt. There wasn't anything about Muhammed or Muslims or anything."

In the script and during the shooting, nothing indicated the controversial nature of the final product, now called Muslim Innocence. Muhammed wasn't even called Muhammed; he was "Master George," Garcia said. The word "Muhammed" was dubbed over in post-production, as were essentially all other offensive references to Islam and Muhammed.

For example, at 9:03 in the trailer, Garcia berates her husband, who wants to send their daughter to Muhammed: "Is your Muhammed a child molester?" she says in the final product. But the words are dubbed over what she actually said. The line in the script—and the line Garcia gave during filming—was, "is your God a child molester," Garcia told us today.

Garcia was horrified when she saw the end product, and when protesters in Libya killed four U.S. Embassy employees.

"I had nothing to do really with anything," she said today. "Now we have people dead because of a movie I was in. It makes me sick."

According to Garcia, her three days on set last July were unremarkable. The film's mysterious pseudonymous writer and director, "Sam Bacile," has claimed to be an Israeli real estate mogul. But Garcia said Bacile told her he was Egyptian on set. Bacile had white hair and spoke Arabic to a number of "dark-skinned" men who hung around the set, she said. (A Bacile associate also told The Atlantic he wasn't Israeli or Jewish.)

"He was just really mellow. He was just sitting there and he wanted certain points to be made."

Once, Garcia said, Bacile wanted a girl that "Master George" (aka Muhammed) was to sleep with to look seven years old, instead of 10, to heighten the outrage. But his Assistant Directors protested, saying that was too young.

After the protests erupted and Bacile appeared in the media, Garcia called him up today to express her outrage at his deception.

"I called Sam and said, 'Why did you do this?' and he said, 'I'm tired of radical Islamists killing each other. Let other actors know it's not their fault.'"

Garcia isn't satisfied simply knowing it wasn't her fault.

"I'm going to sue his butt off."

Update: The entire 80-member cast and crew of the film have released a statement saying they were misled. Via CNN:

The entire cast and crew are extremely upset and feel taken advantage of by the producer. We are 100% not behind this film and were grossly misled about its intent and purpose. We are shocked by the drastic re-writes of the script and lies that were told to all involved. We are deeply saddened by the tragedies that have occurred.

I understand free speech proponents may feel compelled to support the movie, but there really are better examples to start from - of which a crook such as this guy who deceived a lot of people should not be made the be all, end all of free speech.

When I saw the clip I was wondering what the weird dubbing was all about. Apparently new words were dubbed over what the actors were actually saying.

The thoughts expressed were silly & shocking to say the least.

The reason I say is with evidence from history , reading up and actual going on events.
Its a fact that the mamluks were into sodomy. even in arabia, this used to be popular. thats why in islam sodomy has death penalty. but these kind of tendencies dont go away. also the capture of young slave boys is only to satisfy the sultans. Again read up various litreature on this.
Ok maybe the word popular, that i used may not be the right usage. But what i mean is that its a cultural thing.

Pederasty in Mohammedanism - Metapedia

"Of all Islamic peoples, the Turks have had the most formidable reputation for pederasty, a practice which has played a prominent role in court and literary life since the thirteenth century. Following the example of Bayezid I (1360 1403), who sent his soldiers to search the newly conquered lands for boys for his harem, pederasty spread among soldiers, government officials, and the aristocracy generally. European boys from 8 to 16 were considered especially desirable slaves. When Ottoman expansion was halted, the Sultan instituted a "child tax" in his European domains, agents carrying off boys between 7 and 9 for training; the Turks abolished this pederastic tax in the latter seventeenth century. Slave traders continued to supply European boys for Istanbul's famous boy brothels and for the Turkish rulers. Some of these boys were able to achieve positions of power later in life. The Ottoman army was also known for the practice of raping captured enemy soldiers, an example of dominance-enforcement homosexuality; its most famous victim was T. E. Lawrence ("of Arabia"

Support of the tenets that allow the movie to be published does not necessarily mean support of the movie itself.

I am not going to bother to watch it, but by all accounts it is trash.

Some of the comments on here are disgusting, especially sino-challenger's, he should know shame and edit out his despicable flippant comment on the potential rape and actual murder of a diplomatic emmissary.

:edited to reflect the weak source this was based upon, the rape allegation is hopefully not true:

You're talking about sodomy as if its something other than homosexualism (which probably entails something far more). By all accounts today non-Muslim countries seem MORE homosexual than Muslim ones.

In fact if you drill down homosexuality in Muslim countries is usually to do with lack of opportunity in poverty stricken areas... So in these areas, everything goes.

Homosexuality exists in the Muslim world, everyone knows that, but its not more or less (or at least so provable by facts) than in any place else.

At the height of the 9/11 anniversary, the film was released which aggravates the anti-american sentiments all across the world to a new level!

The film has been out since July or earlier, which makes me believe the claim that the protests were orchestrated by AQ as a distraction from their mission to invade the US embassy on 9/11.
