Its so sad to see all this horror after the earthquake here.

Amatrice used to be one of the most beautiful cities of italy.

Amatrice is no more. There is no building left. Only the church stand

Amatrice is the city hardest hit by the quake. I dont know how things will go on there. The mayor begged the people to stay. To create a new Amatrice.

But its so hard to accept all this. Again and again things like this happens. We cry. We are in sorrow and then carry on until it happenes again.

I donated blood and my friends did so as well.

I hope we can find a way to secure that this does not happen again. But it is so hard. Many of our cities are so old. The buildings are many hundred years old. They are our soul. But to make them quake safe is very expensive.

But it was so great those heroes could save children even many days later. It was a miracle. Even a baby.

Its more than 3 weeks now but still very bad there.

All over italy people donate blood, money and good to help.

It's so sad to see the ruins. May they get stronger and get back to normal.

Glad to see you back buddy.
I have no words to describe such situations earthquake during the night when everyone is asleep and hitting your typical very old and beautiful italian villages. We still forget that the nature rules and that we can nothing about it. Sad. Stay strong.

No i don´t think thats possible. They work very hard but the destruction is so gigantic. Its like the entire structural integrity collapsed.

You can see on drone footage

Many victims are children. They try to reach them with robots now.

The children being carried out made tears roll from my eyes. How tragic. Is that the Italian army above?

We had a expert team here in Lucca and they said if such quake would be in our city we would have thousands of death because Lucca is much larger and the buildings many hundred years old but very tall

yes it is. They also did search in the forests nearby. Because people in shock wandered around evrywhere.
