I think they unveiled too fast(they should have waited another 2 year till 2014) just so Tayyip can take some credit , only half of the project completed.

The Japanese Type-10 Tank Price tag is probably fake, S.Korean K2 Black panther offcialy is dubbed as the most expensive tank in the world by the guinnes world book of records. Still Its as freaking beathy, To bad its mobility is crappy since it only has 5 wheels...

This tank is second prototype , there will be two more prototypes and then serial production around 2016 .however it can be evern before that date in 2015 . In turkish Kamuoyuna tanıtılan Altay’ın yapılan ikinci prototipi atış kabiliyetini test etmek için kullanılacak. Bu iki prototipten elde edilen verilerle geliştirilmiş iki prototip daha üretilecek ve Altay tankı 4 yıl sonra 500 milyon dolarlık bir bütçe ile seri üretime hazır hale getirilecek. Altay’ın ilk prototipi ve ikinci prototipi ile törene katılan ziyaretçilere Otokar’ın tank test pistinde özel bir gösteri düzenledi.

I don't doubt the technology,but your government supporting arm industry,ours is killing that

The most of japan F-15s still not modernized,can only launch AIM-7,thé gov also reduce the number of tanks from900 to 400,and cancelled lots of programs

The debt of Japan government is more than 230% of GDP,while akp reduced it

It is because japan Yen became more expensive And the korea won(?) became cheaper

There was 120 yen=1usd before but now78-80 yen=1 usd

What you mean? Many tanks look different, I personally in terms of looks I like Altay, type 10, leopard 2A6+, MERKAVA and K2. M1 not bad looking as well I

What has this to do with Erdogan? Turkish defence industry came to where it is through long-term plans, before Erdogan, I don't understand why any of this would be even slightly considered as Erdogan's accomplishment. I also have observed that Erdogan and Akp tries to make propaganda out of it. The only people who deserves praise in these developments are the ones involved in Turkish defence industry.
