Dudes... the current version of Altay is only for the first batch. These developments are expected to show in later batches. Altay is not a single tank model, but more of a product line of MBT's.

Exactly, my thought. Altay Project started in 2007 and even before that we tried to buy Leopards from Germany and got rejected. We are in 2020 and in the best case scenario first tank will be rolled in 2022. Let's say it tooks 5 years to produce the first batch. 2027..almost 20-25 years.... And today battlefield is changing rapidly..it's the time of the drones..Maybe instead of 4 batches, we can produce only 1 batch and start to work on a new generation MBT...

That's for about our worsth planning I think .

We targeted f-22 on the our first tank experiment. Rheinmetall L/55, Mtu 1500 Hp + boron carbide armor plates + akkor top tier of tank class. And of course Germans let the us for engine. İf they allow they can be lose many contracts.

Heading a 1200-1300 hp class tank is a most accurate plan. İn this class options are very high. İf we want a tank againts leo 2 hel we can buy a 250 tank from germans with our altay project.

I would say 35mm cal new IFV with high tech sensors and APS would useful more than MBTs. 35mm round is really fvcking lethal and rapid. It is bottleneck 50mm round. Case nearly 50mm.
They could waste soviet tanks as well as concrete buildings.
With long range it has also rapid fire capability. They would slaughter every target in 5km range.

Yes it seems korhan 35mm gun .
I wish the gun could fire 3P rounds. It would be great .

That kind of chassis wil have huge front armour and maybe thats can feint yours about size of gun it looks like 105mm .

Other wise why aselsan show 35 mm turreted vehicle for future tank design ? 3d wiev angle will feint yours.

This is 35 mm gun .

35mm oerlikon skyranger which is identical to Korhans turret.

ROK biho 2. 30mm and 40mmcal guns are planned.

Comparing identical platforms, i can confidently say it is diameter of 35mm barrel.

İt cant be 105mm Caliber gun because there isnt any muzzle brake or recoil compensator which is necessary and inevitable.
