First point. Aselsan handled the development of the “protective armor” (AMAP) of the Leopard 2NG Tank model and the transition to modernization Leopard 2A4 Tank standard. Second point. Turkey makes the development of its “Altay tank” in total collaboration with its big ally South Korea who already masters fully science armor and AMAP (Advanced Modular Armor Protection) its own national K2 Black Panther Tank. Third point. All Turkish defense companies needed for this project will work all together. Same this is not official. Why? Because this is a vital strategic project for the safety and the future of Turkey.

If you mean Leopard2NG then yes, Its armor is German AMAP Armor ordered by Aselsan. But if you mean Altay then no, Roketsan will devolep a indegenious armour.
