ISLAMABAD: Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan said Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain may side with the Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri’s current struggle for the attainment of rights for the poor, if the situation takes a turn for the worse.

Addressing the participants of Inqilab March sit-in opposite Parliament House along with Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, he said Altaf Hussain’s patience is overstretched now; he may stand by Dr. Qadri in his endeavors for the uplift of the poor, adding the Muttahida Chief has deep insight into the matter; hence, he full realizes the gravity of the situation.

Sindh Governor said, “We came here to express solidarity of people of Karachi and Sindh with our mothers, sisters and brothers, who are sitting at D-Chowk in open air. Our arrival was also meant to resolve the tense situation. We talked to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and then talked to Dr. Qadri in this regard.”

Ebad assured the participants of the sit-in that Altaf Hussain is waking up with them and liaising with everyone who matters in a bid to resolve the issue, adding, “On behalf of Altaf Hussain, I say that your legal and constitutional demands should be met. But, in case you are denied your rightful demands and due rights, Altaf Hussain will stand up in your support.”

Altaf quickly changed his stance after the arrest of local MQM leader in connection with farooq's murder mystery. Altaf shouldnt piss the government right now because it is holding two of the key suspects that it could send to UK for investigation and if the govt does that, itll be the end of altaf's political career

Exactly! Plus ISI still hold two key witnesses of Imran Farooq Murder case. They certainly came handy...
