Do you even know about the size of Karachi Rural and Urban District?Karachi Urban is very Small compare to Rural as there is a huge area of Gadap Town which is still Rural while Urban is not even 50% of so called aprox 3000 KM/Sq. When we are discussing Karachi most of the time its about Urban only so dont include Rural Karachi into equation and then you would find what my 20% is all about.

Another thing is Demographics as those are Thickly Populated Slums or I call them ETHNIC GHETTOS so there Population Density is quite high and even if they doesnt make area of 20% they would make the size through population. Google Earth doesnt tell the population of an area instead it just show Geographic Image without Boundaries as area of Al Asif for instance include only Apartment Building Al Asif Square in Google Map instead of Surrounding areas so its not that simple to understand the whole urban makup of any city of the world by using Google Map.

I mean just take Qayumabad, It is not large area as of its surrounding like korangi , landhi and still Qayumabad itself is Mqm constituency. Safora goth itself is mix , contain sindhu nationalists, PTI follower and Mqm supporters as well , but surrounding like University road and abul hasan Isphani and suparco surrounding are complete Mqm constituency , and same with other areas you have mentioned. so compare those ethnic ghettos with its surrounding they constitute non-significant part of that. and after all you are accepting that they are not 20% of city. so slowly but sure you are accepting my points.

Its not entirely 50-50 of Urban and Interior because areas at Hawksbay, Bin Qasim, Gadap etc are still Vacant while Malir District has large area use for Irrigation and there are certain areas in Landhi or Korangi as well which is specifically use for Irrigation and land is so Large that 70% of Karachi's Vegitable Requirements are Fulfilled by those Irrigation Lands and if you measure the size of those areas out of the rest you would find Karachi quite Confined in 30-40% rather.

You are correct regarding those areas under Constituencies of MQM and the reason is because these are PART of Constituencies where MQM normally Wins Majority for example Sohrab Goth is Attached with Constituency of Scheme 33, Abbas Town, Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Gulistan-e-Jauhar which is NA 253 and all those mentioned areas have MQM's strength while Sohrab Goth doesnt so MQM would win from that Constituency and same goes for Banarus which is included in constituency of Orangi Town Most fanatical MQM Supported Area but due to limited Size difference not that Large there has always been Close Contest and Quaid-e-Azam Calony which is part of Landhi and Korangi which has large MQM strength Constituency along with Qayumabad as well I think but despite of winning from those areas MQM cant work there because they are like NO GO Areas for MQM workers and Supporters as other Mafias doesnt allow MQM to exist there as their Strength would be Threatened from MQM. Considering the size of Karachi Urban and add Population into equation they are close to 20% of Karachi and it has always been MQM which calls for Cleanup Operation as when these areas are cleaned up from Mafia those MQM Criminal Elements would be reduced as well because they wont going to serve any purpose and MQM can manage to walk in to those areas and form their Organization setup quite easily.

Areas at hawksbay coastline is now populated, their are Naval colony, Musharraf colony etc areas have schools and clinics available in that areas, that area towards KANUPP is now having significant population. areas of Ittehad town and manghopir are crossing the Karachi's boundary. Gadap at north is shown large region in few premature maps, which in reality is not as much expanded towards north , its keamari and malir that are much of expanded areas. Gadap itself contain surjani and taiser towns now.surjani looks better populated in 2015 as compare to 5 or 7 years back. similarly area towards bhens colony is well populated. if not as much dense as liyari, azizabad etc. area like liyari,azizabad cannot be taken as reference of comparison. many of research papers and researches after 2009 suggested that Karachi urban area extends over 1800 km^2. population density of several areas might be different to each other and resources available might be different for different areas.even geography department of UOK cannot suggest an accurate land size of karachi boundary but different approximates are available. same with Karachi population , no one can suggest accurate amount as official census of karachi is not carried out in recent years.

Mqm have not contested elections fairly , just a week before they call presiding officers to their sector offices and give them script according which they have to act, and who will dare to say no to Mqm thugs if his home or his traveling route is in Mqm thug area. Mqm was biased about operation, they were demanding of cleaning their opponents but then rangers turned up to them then they started crying like this what they didn't demanded. our state left Mqm to convert our city into worst kill zone in world , and state is responsible that failed to provide protection to Karachi's citizens.Almost all institution of state are responsible for their failure.
