Well that's the problem isn't it. MQM wants all of it or nothing. This is not how democracy works. Democracy needs compromise in order to succeed.

It wasn't the job of PTI-JI to conduct elections. Aren't you forgetting its the federal Election Commission that is responsible for conducting elections in the provinces. They could call Army if they were not happy with police to provide law and order.
Whatever serves the interest of theirs and their Electorates are their Interest so its Give and Take deal while on the other hand for PMLN and PTI its only Take deal as Establishment utilize them whenever and whatever irrespective of Public Interest or not like Electoral Reform and Judicial Commission Dharnas.

As I said, they could ask Army's assistance. Too bad as police force of KPK wasn't enough anyway.
They did the right thing because it serves no Public Purpose as demands were Political rather then Public like Fuel Shortage, Energy Crisis, Unemployment etc while Dharna was about Judicial Commission and Electoral Reforms.PTI invited MQM to join Dharnas against rigging for the interest of common Pakistanis. They backed off. What public interests?
