A picture saying a thousand words.

Good thing for Pti or am I another person congratulating my favorite party without any knowledge of what this means or whether this will be useful at all.

How significant is he in the politics of South Punjab?

We are congratulating everyone... but how about answering the above vital question?

He has a great influence over NA-183, PPP won there last time but he was supporting them. PPP is still strong there still.

His influence is all over the Bahawalpur region but only in 183 he can give Pti the votes they need. For the rest of the region Pti requires MORE support

its legit, no? that we will make Bahawalpur province if you do seat adjustment with PTI ?? how exactly does that mean PTI is doing politics on provincialism ??

when I said its not Legit just said it contradicts Pti's earlier stance of not including provincialism in their agenda

when I said its not Legit just said it contradicts Pti's earlier stance of not including provincialism in their agenda

and it still isn't. yes we will work out on new provinces when in power, but wont do politics on it like pmln/ppp

@^ As I said his influence is all over the region but these 17 candidates belong to PPP and they have their own vote bank too. SO for any other party it will be difficult to win election with his support unless they have their own vote bank

apparently 17 candidates (for both provincial and national assemblies) won the 2008 elections with his support. so he is kind of a king-maker in his region as per the following article:

PTI moves in on Bahawalpur kill | Pakistan Today | Latest news | Breaking news | Pakistan News | World news | Business | Sport and Multimedia

Yesterday Imran Khan said he will not make alliance with any party who sat in parliament for 5 years and did nothing here you gave a list of 17 candidates MPA's and MNA's.

Imran Khan is master of U-Turn atleast i am not buying his stupid change

obviously.

Abbasi is not a small Tribe , Daudpota Abbasi of Bhawalpur May have joined PTI , but don't expect that this Bloodline is only limited to Bhawalpur and Abbasid don't follow the Command of their Nawabs , They are Truely Independent of their decisions . Don't consider it great achievement . Hazara Division of Abbasis are still under PML n control.

The only significance is South Punjab has 48 NA seats and most of them belongs to this Nawab.

And as per Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami; This alliance is a Taqat Ka Teeqa for PTI.

SMQ on Capital Talk confirms Bahawalpur province is one of the reason for the seat adjustment ( not alliance  )

PTI's stand always been that there will be no alliance/seat adjustment with the parties who have enjoyed power in the last five years. Has Nawab's party done that ? Second, the smaller the administrative units are, the better. It's not an issue if done right , and on the right basis through the right process.

I am a public administration major so don't give me lame rebuttals.

They won with his support, Nawab or his party were not in the parliament. Can you tell the difference ?

Yes, he did and it happens all over the world. He was acting as a pressure group outside the parliament. He or his party was not involved in the electoral process. Monkeys can type as well. Show me there's more to you than just typing.

If ALL the parties inside the parliament including opposition ( who can do nothing ) are to be blamed for Ppp govt then all those who supported them in election must also take the blame
