All set to inaugurate 5 million gallon desalination plant in Gwadar

Under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a 5 million gallon desalination plant has been established in Gwadar to supply water to the residents of the area.

Water will be supplied at a price of 80 paisa per gallon to the residents of Gwadar.

According to the head of China Port Holding, the inauguration of the plant will take place on 1st January 2018 after which people of Gwadar would be able to easily access clean drinking water.

He also informed that the construction of Expo Centre in Gwadar has been completed and it will be inaugurated on 28th January 2018.

According to reports, inauguration of various other buildings in the Free Zone will also take place sometime in next month.

Great news, Karachi badly needs one as well, PPP has proven itself so corrupt after all these years in power in Sindh, they still could not provide the residents clean drinking water.

The 100 Million gallon is recommened as even if consumption is low , the extra water can be stored into a artificial Lake , for future , Baluchistan inner land has areas were such a Lake can be created

The Artificial Lakes should be filled , in special zones / areas of Baluchistan to fill up water

Nuclear Power plant 150MW-200MW - $200 Millions USD (Only for Desalination Plants)
Canal Project - $800 Million USD (Bit over budget in my opinion)
Desalination plant Cost - $658 Million USD for a 100 Million Gallon per day production capacity
Artificial Lake Construction (50-80 Lakes) - $400 Million USD (digging a natural ground depression)

Pakistan's Coast Line = 1,046 km (So likely the estimate I had should be doubled for canal construction)


$2.0 Billion fairly small figure to convert the Pakistani Coast line into a green belt we should be able to get funds from Asian Development Bank / International Fund or Investors


100 Million Gallon Sea water cleaning plant can fill this much Space in 4 Days!!!
This is a man made , 400 Million Gallon storage

Project need to run on free Nuclear Electric Engery

This is just basic engineering work , dig a hole to store Water for Long term use in city
