RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat
NEW DELHI: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat today used a Dussehra speech to rein in the cow brigade+ and to also assert that "all of Kashmir, including Mirpur, Muzaffarabad and Gilgit-Baltistan, is India's."
"Any unrest in Kashmir is fuelled by elements across the border, and (with the surgical strikes+ ) our government gave those elements a fitting reply," Bhagwat said, adding that the country's Army showed incredible bravery thanks to the Centre's leadership.
"They (Pakistan) have got the message that there is a limit to tolerance," he added.
As for cows, the RSS chief also warned the 'cow brigade'+ to work within the law and to not break it, in its efforts to work towards the Centre's goal of protecting cows.
He added that, "you can't compare cow protectors to those trying to spread religious hatred."
"Cow protection is good for the country...a lot of farmers are dependent on the cow," said Bhagwat.
The RSS chief also slammed discrimination based on caste.
"Due to discrimination based on caste, creed, language a few incidents take place in our society which are shameful," the RSS chief said.
