ALL MEMBERS PLEASE HELP! Urgent!

My take on Scale:

X-axis(I/V): (1.13-.47)/5*75=9.9mm for 1 unit=>We can use 5mm as 1 unit.
Y-Axis(V/V):(1.7-.7)/5*60=12mm for 1 unit=> We can use 10mm as 1 unit as matter of convenience.

this is what I was looking for (Y) but kinda complicated

what you are studying bro?

he don't need to do that much work for simple problem... he might get confused....

I'm studying physics, Cambridge iGCSE (O level or gcse intl alternative)

hmmm good... any doubts regarding electrical or magnetism... you can ask me.. will help you...

Lol infinite doubts, but it's divided to three different papers, and this paper doesnt have those two - next week maybe
I'll just bookmark thx in advance

I beg your pardon.

Y-axis is quite simple which earlier I too have messed up, scale should be 5mm.

1. start with broken Y axis and mark point .7 after 5mm from center of axis.
2. 5 mm later plot .8 and after .9 with a gap of 5mm and so on ...
3. by this way you can plot the whole range .7 to 1.7 in 60mm Y axis with a neat and clean graph.

you are welcome...

when ever you are plotting graph... most probably you might get the shape, if you take close look....

suppose you got 25, 30, 35, 40 etc on x or y axis..... you can directly consider 25 after null point(zero), you don't need to worry to draw 5 10 etc, before 25...

THanks a lot you took the effort to solve it, and used red ink :P

Just tell me how you decided the y axis should be 1V for 20 marks on the grid and x axis as 0.25 on every 10 marks? I mean is there a way for me to know how to do this in other questions with different ranges?
I simply have no idea how to decide the scale for each axes

There is no rule as such mate. You just have to judge. Look at the range of data (Min and max) and decide the scale accordingly, so that you can graph your data neatly.

that was just a smiley, (Y) means thumbs up so yea, you got my pardon :P

I have an exam soon and there's oemthing really basic I can't understand at all :(
I have a table with values in one column ranging from 0.47 to 1.13 and in another from 0.7 to 1.7 and I have to chose a scale to plot them on a graph of 75x60mm grid
I have no idea what the first number should be and how I should divide the markings :P

Question 3(a)(ii)

God bless you ! All the best for your exam !

the weird scale you chose makes it hard to find x2-x1
