Bollywood star Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan has left people in India and Pakistan, taken aback after she expressed that she would be much happier living in Pakistan.

The No Fathers in Kashmir actor made an astonishing statement amidst her interview with Nav Bharat Times addressed the criticism that she has always been hurled with for being blatant about her political views that get her labelled ‘anti-national’ after which revealed why she would prefer living across the border.

“When I talk like this, people start calling me anti-national and want to send me to Pakistan. Sometimes I wonder, I should really go to Pakistan as I’ll be much happier there. As it is the food is also good that side. Here, people are after me and want to make me run away. However, there are so many people who share the same thoughts as me, and thus, it hardly makes any difference to me what people have to say about me,” she stated.

Her statement was followed by the censure getting amplified as trolls on that side of the border said further that she should move to Pakistan if she likes it better than her own motherland.

. . . . . .
Pakistan is a very safe place for minorities, she is more than welcome.

With TTP and JuA gone into hiding in their Afghan Consulates , our minorities are now flourishing again , they are free to celebrate their religious festivals , go their places of worship with ease of mind, and now also they are slowly increase the number of representation of minorities in Parliament . but 2 more term of MODI and than YOGI , I guess we need to start our own Ghar Wapsi program .

.
More importantly, Indians are starting to come out of their shells where they were led to believe as if moving to Pakistan would be a curse. Now they have started to wonder why are Pakistanis so far up on happiness index and as such a move to Pakistan may actually be beneficial to an Indian.

She’s welcome, her daughter should follow lol.

.
well its her choice....she was born and brought up in UK and have lived most of her life in that country...Pakistanis have done quite well in UK, so perhaps that has more influence on her views rather than the biased view anyone living in India or Pakistan would have about each other's countries.

O yes, it has nothing to do with what she said:

absolutely, that's the reality in India, don't know about Pakistan....many Indians don't even know Soni Razdan is British...last time someone had asked Aamir khan to go to Pakistan :-) ..but not all class people have any interest in such things....ours is a huge nation, thousands of political parties, millions of leaders and cheer leaders..thousands of new papers and hundreds of news channels..if someone says something, one of the media person picks it up and makes it breaking news...ofcourse because there are audience for those type of news...but not all have same views!

no, that's the point..some of them or all of them can have liberal views which are unbiased...they may love Pakistan or hate India.....its all dependent on ones up-bringing and external influences...

again, its media person or political vested interest that makes it an issue....not all have the same view.....Sania Mirza was so popular in India but she decided to marry a pakistani sport person and moved to Pakistan..we didn't see people coming on street and protesting, it was her internal-personal affair..she has full right to move anywhere.

Sure, but of course it is nothing to do with the fact that she is always told to go to leave her motherland and go to Pakistan?

So liberal views get replies like go to Pakistan? SO how is that not freedom of speech? Why must everyone who dont have similar monotonous thought should go to Pakistan?

Are you sure Sania Mirza faced no problems?

She is trolled for all her "liberal" thoughts...Not very accepting....so no, after a while, enough really is enough!
