Has nothing to do with anti Semitism. Do you even know what Semitic is?

Semitic people - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In my view, Zhang Yitang is a greater scientist than Albert Einstein. What has Einstein done that advanced society technologically?

Read the post I was referring to.

Anyone who is arguing for or against a scientist based on his religion is pathetic Mullah in lab coat.

Sorry to say.

p.s. If you like Zhang Yitang, open a separate thread and post your views of his "research papers" that were published in a peer reviewed journal. Otherwise stfup please.

To be clear, Jewish isn't only a religion. It is also an ethnic group. Einstein is a Jewish last name, not a German last name. Ditto with Eisenstein, Perelman, Oppenheimer etc.

To be fair, Einstein was good, but he wasn't the best. Planck, Heisenberg, Hilbert, Schwarzschild, Lorentz, Maxwell, Lenard, Stark, Riemann, Roentgen, Hahn, Noether, Bohr, Tesla etc. were all as accomplished if not more accomplished than Einstein. It was the ripe time for discoveries in physics.

Thanks for toning down your anti-Jewish rhetoric.

I wish you were a real scientist and not a 2-bit spectator watching some wrestling match among 2-bit street fighters.

Science and scientists should be treated separate from religious, ethnic, geographical, racial mumbo jumbo.

Also no one is "better" per se. Every scientist has a role in very special branch of science. Thus they all are appreciated by those who value science.

So please quit repeating My "pinky finger" is bigger than yours attitude.

Thank you

Every ethnic group has its black sheep. 99% of Jewish people are good people. Only 1% of Jewish people are Zionists, the Jewish counterpart of Jihadists and Christian fundamentalists and National Socialists.

To be clear, Einstein was a great man who made great contributions to humanity.

.
Einstein did work at the US patents office so its plausable that he stole other people's ideas.

His case may be very similar to that to Jon Von Neumann who is credited for the making of the first stored program computer , the reality is that he too palagarize work .. no doubt he did a lot of the work himself but in using other's work due acknowlegement has to given with correct references which he did not do when he published the paper for his stored program computer architecture which now forever is called as the the 'Von Neumann architecture'

Einstien most likely did something similar that he stole ideas from others , did his add on work and then hogged on to all the findings and his 'own'.

Again my dear, you are throwing in the fing religious mumbo jumbo in a thread that was supposed to be about science and scientists.

What's wrong with you Sir?

Didn't you know, religion and science go hand in hand? :o:

Well I am not sure why people keep on insisting Einstein was a genius when he was not

a) He did not invent the bomb , it was done by collaborative work of 130,000 people not work of man

b) He did happen to write a letter to represent the finding of scientist

c) His equation , was already discovered by Many other scientist
e=mc2 , was already known by scientist (Which people credit to him wrongfully)

Fritz Hasenöhrl

d) His so called Theory of Relativity , was already known , it majority of the stuff was stolen from
"Special Relativity Theory"

Relativity priority dispute - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

  • In 1889, ([Poi89]), Henri Poincaré argued that the ether might be unobservable, in which case the existence of the ether is a metaphysical question, and he suggested that some day the ether concept would be thrown aside as useless. However, in the same book (Ch. 10) he considered the ether a "convenient hypothesis" and continued to use the concept also in later papers in 1908 ([Poi08], Book 3) and 1912 ([Poi13], Ch. 6).
  • In 1895, Poincaré argued that experiments like that of Michelson-Morley show that it seems to be impossible to detect the absolute motion of matter or the relative motion of matter in relation to the ether. In [Poi00] he called this the Principle of Relative Motion, i.e., that the laws of movement should be the same in all inertial frames. Alternative terms used by Poincaré were "relativity of space" and "principle of relativity".[2] In 1904 he expanded that principle by saying: "The principle of relativity, according to which the laws of physical phenomena must be the same for a stationary observer as for one carried along in a uniform motion of translation, so that we have no means, and can have none, of determining whether or not we are being carried along in such a motion." However, he also stated that we do not know if this principle will turn out to be true, but that it is interesting to determine what the principle implies.
  • In [Poi00], Poincaré published a paper in which he said that radiation could be considered as a fictitious fluid with an equivalent mass of
    a22c987683c1fba42cc0849ccc464ddd.png
. He derived this interpretation from Lorentz's 'theory of electrons' which incorporated Maxwell's radiation pressure.
  • Poincaré had described a synchronization procedure for clocks at rest relative to each other in [Poi00] and again in [Poi04]. So two events, which are simultaneous in one frame of reference, are not simultaneous in another frame. It is very similar to the one later proposed by Einstein.[3] However, Poincaré distinguished between "local" or "apparent" time of moving clocks, and the "true" time of resting clocks in the ether. In [Poi02] he argued that "some day, no doubt, the ether will be thrown aside as useless".
  • Lorentz' paper [Lor04] containing the transformations bearing his name appeared in 1904.

Note:
A personal friend of Einstein, Maurice Solovine, later acknowledged that he and Einstein both pored for weeks over Poincaré's 1902 book, keeping them "breathless for weeks on end" [Rot06].

Henri Poincaré was a genius he was "EXCEPTIONAL" multiple categories
>mathematician
>theoretical physicist
>engineer
>philosopher of science.

This man was "EXCEPTIONAL" in 4 fields of science which is why he came up with solutions that Einstein could not even imagine , its proven fact that Einstein studied his paper and research and failed to properly "quote" him

What Henri Poincaré did not had was he did not hollywood and newspaper editors publishing his name and giving him credit that is what he did not had

Einstein did work at the US patents office so its plausable that he stole other people's ideas.

Scientific papers by Einstein were published in peer reviewed journals.

Thus it is unlikely they will be stolen or misinterpreted like our collections of ahadees.

So let's not throw around total ignorance about science.

Heck your name is "Pak Defender". If this is what you want to do then be smart and intelligent instead of following a Hojra stuck Mullah who is typically a metric fail guy.

Thank you.

Well I am not sure why people keep on insisting Einstein was a genius when he was not .

OK. the reason you keep on posting drivel against one scientist is now becoming clear.

And the reason is not science.

Now keep on spreading jahiliya. Shabash.

thank you

You need to put a constant in e=mc2 :o:. It's too simple.

Actually, it was Olinto De Pretto who first came up with E = mc^2.

Discussing E=MC^2 these days is like discussing Baba Adam and Amma Hawwa.

Who cares. It is just a story.

If you want to discuss please discuss the latest discoveries in science.

And see who are the leading physicists.

Science is evolving every minute these days.

Discussing ancient stuff from 1940s is boring.

So please avoid it.

FIRST OF ALL, THE IDEA THAT THE SPEED OF LIGHT WAS A CONSTANT AND WAS INDEPENDENT OF THE MOTION OF ITS SOURCE WAS NOT EINSTEIN'S AT ALL, BUT WAS PROPOSED BY THE SCOTTISH SCIENTIST JAMES MAXWELL in 1878.
...the results of the Michelson Morley experiment could be explained if, ". . . the length of material bodies change, according as they are moving through the either or across it by an amount depending on the square of the ratio of their velocities to that of light."
THIS IS THE THEORY OF RELATIVITY, 13 YEARS BEFORE EINSTEIN'S PAPER![/quote]No, it is not. Relativity does not say objects actually get shorter at near-luminal velocities but that they will appear to do so.

Few who study physics at the graduate level would deny that mathematical physicists would have come up with the relation E=mc2 without Einstein. The fundamental physical understanding of it, however - that the speed of light is a constant in a stationary reference frame and that different reference frames matter - is Einstein's, something he picked out of the philosopher Mach. And without insight like Einstein's the much more complicated General Theory of Relativity could never have been developed.

...the most probable source of Einstein's plagiarism was
Friedrich Hasenöhrl, one of the most brilliant, yet unappreciated physicists of the era.
Ah, now we get to the nubbin. Einstein's contributions to physics were vital, there was no way to avoid them, but the Nazi scientists of the 1930s and 1940s had to have a way to refer to them without alluding to the Jewish Einstein. Hasenorl was invented for this purpose. He was a real person but died during WWI.

AGAIN IT IS NOT EINSTEIN, BUT WILHELM WIEN AND MAX PLANCK WHO DESERVE THE CREDIT. The main point of Einstein's paper, and the point for which he is given credit, is that light is emitted and absorbed in finite packets called quanta. This was the explanation for the photoelectric effect. The photoelectric effect had been explained by Heinrich Hertz in 1888. Hertz and others, including Philipp Lenard, worked on understanding this phenomenon.
Others described much of the relationship mathematically but that description did not mesh with scientists' physical understanding. Most especially, it did not resolve the puzzle of the "ultraviolet catastrophe". Einstein's explanation that the photoelectric effect could be explained by quanta was vital in changing the idea of the nature of light - hence the Nobel prize.

There's a lot of other stuff here - some true and relevant, like Einstein needing help with advanced mathematics - but other facts not so relevant, and more out-and-out fakery like the stuff about Hasenhorl. Clearly the author has an agenda and a dishonest intellectual approach does not stop him from pursuing it.

I understand, however, that this sort of thing is perfectly acceptable to Pakistanis, who - according to Western professors like Bernard Lewis - are fond of promoting questionable facts and facetious arguments that support whatever point they're trying to make and ignoring everything else. I'd sure like to see a few Pakistanis prove this wrong, but it's more likely they'll respond by claiming (without citing checkable facts) that the U.S. and Zionists do the same thing, and thus think they've "proved" their argument, rather than engaged in circular logic.

1940s is ancient? Mind you, Riemann hypothesis is from 1859 and it's still state of the art science.

E = mc^2 has never been proven to be true. Theory of relativity has never been proven to be true.

In math, a proven conjecture becomes a theorem. In physics and biology, a proven theory becomes a law. For instance, gravitation is a law, big bang is a theory.
