My gut feelings are that force ought to be used....but I think this overall would damage Pakistan further....other anti-state elements would get involved...outside agencies will take advantage of this....

They're not protesting, this isn't a protest. They're not demonstrating opposition to the courts decision in any way at all.

These are just hooligans and criminals. If this was in the U.K the cops would be there and if the cops can't handle it then believe the army would.

People are nervous about what the world might say if Pak is heavy handed, world is happy with courts decision. Pak shouldn't be afraid to uphold law and order by whatever is necessary.

In Pakistan our politics has become so extreme that Erdogan who is regarded as Islamists in the west - if he ever took part in Pakistani politics he would be regarded as a 'Yehoodi bacha athiest' king libturd.

I know. Pakistan is facing bankruptcy. The PM has been working non stop to shore up the reserves. He has gone to KSA, UAE and now China in a desperate attempt to stop sinking. Bingo.There needs to be revival of culture that was lost in the 70s and 80s thanks to Saudi Gulf Arab mindset also sadly most of us cant speak Urdu in the disapora these days but worse when your own cousins or family cant speak Urdu properly in their own country yet never been out very bad thats how you get radical Wahhabists who bring the Gulf Arab mindset time to revive cultural traditions in the past and its not hard Kazakhstan under Nurslatan Nazarbayev has been heavily into reviving Kazakh culture through reviving banned cultural customs during the Soviet era
