No Ottoman State (Turkey) didn’t give up voluntary northern africaAlgeria has agreements with Lybia including a mutual defence signed in the 70's
Really you lack history facts...It was the Turks that gave Algiers to the french..for a safe passage to Turkey..and at one time after ww1, you were occupied briefly...by the French..
That would be interesting option but I find impossible in practice as there are recently formed islamist parties by former AK party “prominent”(i mean previous high-level officials otherwise they aren’t prominent at all at least according to majority of turks including myself) membersTurkey should be supporting Houthis/Ansarullahin Yemen to put huge pressure on bu Dhabi. With over dozen missiles on Dubai stock exchange, oil refineries, the King's palaces in Abu Dhabi, and the Dubai port, UAE would've been brought to its knees. I hope Turkey takes this much needed action.

Only the majority counts..and only Qatar partially opposed..Tunisian president himself support the Cairo declaration..
Give me english source and I will believe youOnly the majority counts..and that is only Qatar..Tunisian president himself support the Cairo declaration..
Just go back a page or two to see it with the official source.. not twitter talk
Ali Salih the former president of Yemen and who got into office after assassinating the president before him with Saudi support controlled the coutry like 100% until the Yemenis decided Arab spring freedom, he then waned to fool them by backing down from the presidency and putting his idiot of vice president in front while he(Salih) keep running the republican guard and the army from behind the curtains, he planned to sit back and watch as Hadi fuvks things up then he would return to the throne as a savior of Yemenis, but his plan was not Saudi plan, the Saudi said to Hadi that he should forget the Houti threat for now and start with fighting the reformists of Yemen (the MBs), and stupid Hadi said OK, Salih on the other hand wanted to go back to power, Saudis refused , so he broke a deal with the houties and gave them the entire army and republican guard, that is how the houties took control over the Capital of Yemen, after that Saudi/UAE started to force the houties into giving up more and more land, meanwhile ISIS and AQAP were also gaining ground, until they too started losing it, something happened and treasonous UAE broke a deal with Iran (their defense attache went to Tehran) and the next day UAE said it would stop engagement and they started arming the southern separatist of STC and now Hadi gvt is paralyzed as he watches UAE/SA conspiring against Yemen and dividing it into two countries, it's an unbelievable series of betrayal, but, the Yemenis will free their country and eventuallyWhat a fucking bizarre situation...
It is easy to explain and well documented too.. there were terrorists coming from there and crossing to Egypt..everybody knows this..so do your search too..Give me english source and I will believe you
By the way eha news agency is not some random media they always quote official sources
I went 1-2 pages back and all I can see is trash talk between some members
I saw your tweet about tunisian president
Well he’s right that this is interim government that should be eventually replaced by new one in free elections...
However haftar’s backers won’t agree to meaningful political settlement unless they lose the oil region+Juffra and Sirte
I have already talked about Egypt and their entry in Libya
what is your opinion???
Once I talked here with egyptian and he claimed that for Egypt the eastern border region is a national security issue and I said to him it’s ok cause Turkey doesn’t have any plans going there yet now we can hear from Egyptian president claiming Sirte as redline despite being 500 km away from Egypt-Libya border
How can they explain such military action to international community?!?!??
No Ottoman State (Turkey) didn’t give up voluntary northern africa
Do you understand what does it mean to be defeated and sign capitulation treaty
I can understand if some north african muslims feel betrayed probably because they suffered genocide from the French Empire so they might blame turks but if you actually know the (geo)political history of 18-19th centuries then you know very well that turks couldn’t do nothing
That would be interesting option but I find impossible in practice as there are recently formed islamist parties by former AK party “prominent”(i mean previous high-level officials otherwise they aren’t prominent at all at least according to majority of turks including myself) members
They will probably capitalize on sectarianism card=erdogan supporting(shia) houthis
in short he(erdogan) might lose important share of his conservative electorate that could cost him dearly in the next elections so he won’t take such dangerous risky step but Turkey can support MB in Yemen which happens to be aligned with Saudi/hadi government but against UAE-backed STC and iranian-backed houthis
Well the so called bad MB terrorists who are despised by the holy trio(Saudi UAE and Egypt) is aligned with Saudis in Yemen
What a fucking bizarre situation...
He took Sirte because the madkhali brigade (I don’t the exact term) switched sides because their leader from Saudi Arabia issued fatwa against Turkey(and GNA) that’s the real reason why Sirte fell without oppositionIt is easy to explain and well documented too.. there were terrorists coming from there and crossing to Egypt..everybody knows this..so do your search too..
Did you know that the UAE and Egypt did not approve of Hafter attacking Tripoli.. but he still wanted to do it.. he was not that stupid..he got all the reinforcement of GNA coming to defend Tripoli.. and then he went back and took back Sirte almost without opposition.. so it was a good faint after all..
Thank you for extensive explanation but my point was emphasizing political opportunismBro we need to understand the Zaydis in Yemen, which is the sect that the Houthis/Ansarullah belong to. They are much closer to the Hanafi School of Thought in Sunni Islam. Their teachings are the same as the Sunnis. Many Sunnis lump all Shia in the same camp; they aren't, and unless one studies each group of their own, it is not fair to lamb all Shia groups as one monolith group.
Turkish support to Houthis/Ansarullah would be behind the scene like Iran is doing, and it would really turn tables on anti-Turkey Gulf Arab regimes. I hope the Turkish govt considers it.
how they feel about our involvements in Lebanon and Yemen??Iran’s foreign policy is deeply disliked by turks of all ideologies
