. . .
Good work. Are they going to share the upgradation work for the SA upgrade?

@Mosamania

This company is the one contracted to upgrade the F-15S to F-15SA, the upgrade comes with new Wings and new Frontal Fuselage. From the software and delicate electronics front AEC is the one contracted for both upgrade and new production F-15SA.

.
So the jets aren't being sent to Boeing for upgrades?

. . .
how is KSA's Typhoon fleet doing? apparently other operators are having some troubles with its operational service.

the more appropriate word to use is Impressive.

I can still see them flying above Taif almost on a daily basis, I guess we are not affected or as affected as the European nations, as we are not currently going through defense cuts. I am more interested to know if KSA is going to start providing Saudi made spare parts to the European nations soon. As production of commonly changed spare parts is part of the ToT.

They are flying eagles from 80's with their pockets spilling dollars from 50's...they will have to do much better than wings & front fuselage to earn the word "impressive"...!

it would be much better if it was to be "unexpectedly impressive"

The two most recent posts are posts of no value in a otherwise informative thread. A shame.

That would be really great if true. But could there be legal problems with that? I mean could the export of the indigenously manufactured spare parts be restricted for instance depending on the import country?

That's the closest that I have come to any information about that.

I just hope that "Project Typhoon" and other ToT will soon kickstart.

Do you know anything on this front @Bubblegum Crisis ?

that will be comical
might cause many in Europe to commit mass suicides out of sheer shock and disbelief
dont understand why this plane gets some bad press. I guess its to do with grapes are soar.

@Syed Hussain
these are the Arabs the world normally mocks about having no brain and just free cash from oil to spend. credit should be given where it is due.
F-15s are very complex machines and are operated by a very exclusive club of American top allies. America is very jealous about protecting its technology. Pakistan is also operating F-16s since the 80s, I wonder how much of it is it developing itself?
