I have stopped believing any and everything when it comes to these terrorists nowadays. Who knows how much time they need to regroup and stab us in the back as usual.

There's no need to believe them. It's just a statement.Finding the real reason behind the statement is your job.

Here's something interesting.

Talking to reporters by phone from an unknown place, Yousaf Raza Mujahid claimed that he was the commander of the Taliban al-Qaeda Group Bajaur chapter. He said the decision of a ceasefire and peace talks would be made at the joint meeting of the TTP’s Mohmand and Bajaur chapters to be held at an undisclosed location on Thursday. He said the outcome of the meeting would be made public on February 28.

So based on these statements we can assume that the Militant groups of Bajaur and Mohmand agencies have announced ceasefire until their joint meeting in which they'll decide their future course of action.
