T-96 a with AK configuration were sold to peru.......Its also known as VT-1A(tank).

Yup .. 3 tanks were there.. but later returned.
.. although there was an agreement to buy a more modified version...but nothing has come of it yet

No its a POF made tank based on Type-90... with a ukranian power pack.and upgraded VETRA-1.While FCS,avionics,gun,BMS,warning lasers,rehbar,UAV conectivity etc are indigenous..... n french transmission,thermal sights etc.

Al Khalid can destroy the target in night.That is a nother good capability.......

The T-90S.. was missing this.. the T-90M is not.. and features advanced targeting ability.. The older T-90S will be upgraded to the "Bhishma " standard eventually..
The Arjun.. whenever and if it comes into service.. is designed from the outset with all weather engagement ability.

on topic, type-98 is not a solid stable tank, PLA inducted very few of them, and after few years they upgrated it to type-99 which deployed the most in PLA's heavy armor force

the main prblems with t-98 were the engine and reliability as it was supposed to be China's first attempt to develop a main battle tank indigineously, so some of the components were not well tested.

Pakistan went for Ukrain engine.
