There are too many questions right now, I think we should wait and look for any future information about this. I'm sure we'll get some info, considering we've just found out about it.

I am a bit skeptical on the JV part too looking at their program partners - Canada, UK, Australia, India, though there may be or may not be a possibility.

Also, the whole TAPV has been JVed to their Canadian partner, so I don't see where HIT fits in - but I am not discounting the possibilities. As you said - there's not much info out there about any such JV.

even we didnt know about the development, the brochure gave it away, HIT doesnt publish anything till the project is a done deal.

Well, a JV doesn't mean developing a new version, but a version specifically for Pakistan.

But yeah, let's wait and see.

125 MM gun fires round up to 2000 meter range. Don't you think it's a major drawback? considering adversary tanks equipped with 120 mm projectiles can fire projectiles up to 4000 meter?

At first they were planing 10 major improvements. do you think that the new AK has a Plug n Play design so that the rest of the improvements can easily be included if required ???
