This says till July 2013, 300 were produced

The one for 2013-14 says 15 produced that year and the one for 2014-15 says 2 produced that year.
So total now is 330-340.

Was expecting Al Khalid numbers to be close to 320 as I personally visited HIT four years ago and asked some people some questions.
Golden Era of Zardari cast us some serious damage as far as Tank production & Upgradation goes.

But I am disappointed to see low numbers of Al Zarrar tanks. 485 Tanks while every one used to believe that atleast 600 were produced so far.

320 Al-Khalid Tank were built by 2008.
175-200 Al-Khalid 1 Tank from 2008 to 2016.
200 Al-Khalid 2 Tank from 2017 to 2020 (50 Tanks per year)

Lol.
Ukraine only supplied 315 6TD-2 Engines for Pakistan Al Khalid from 2004-end of 2013.
So the above figure of 315 tanks till July 2014 is accurate.

Plz do not spam misinformation. There is no verification that Al Khalid 1 was mass produced. Perhaps simply Al Khalid was renamed as Al Khalid 1 after plans for Al Khalid 2 were revealed and a symbolic designation became necessary to differentiate one block from another.

ZERO Al Khalid was produced during second Half of Asif Ali Zardari Government. Only Main Gun production continued during that time. Nothing else.

420 AL Khalid Manufactured till 2014.CONFIRMED BY HIT OFFICIALS TO JANES.
