The airplane Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani was travelling on has made an emergency landing at the Chaklala airbase.

The Prime Minister was returning from China after attending the Boao conference.

PM’s plane makes emergency landing after technical failure

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani’s plane made an emergency landing at the Chakala airbase in Rawalpindi, a private TV channel reported here on Tuesday.

On its way to Sukkur, the aircraft experienced a technical failure, leading the pilot to call up the air control tower and subsequently land at the airbase.

All passengers remained safe and after the plane landed, Gilani was safely escorted from the plane.
