Nothing compares to F-16 not even JF-17

As the chief said there are certain areas where jf excels and other f-16

Range and load f-16 and stand off weapons jf even latest mirages excel in sow like arm and other goodies the very reason they are there besides no funding

Most probably...I don't know why they can't fly JF-17s.

Because the sitting CAS usually is not "current" on the fighters. It is risky to send him out on a flight all by himself as the CAS is usually not flying regularly due to other commitments and adminstrative responsibilities. Thus the chief always flies in a 2 seater. Once the PAF has inducted 2 seater JF-17, we may see him flying in the Thunder.

Anyone go on leave for more than x days where x is I think 30 days when you return you have to fly dual seater familiarization sorties ie more than one also after wing commander rank flying is not your primary duty in a wing ie you do not fly as often and as rank goes up flying goes down

Active flying pretty much ends after sqn command exception being Wings Oc flying etc

Yes there is a period where they need to requalify to get their flight status back. Usually a check-ride with the flight commander training or ops.
