Well, I was thinking more on the lines of securing the shipping routes through to the suez canal with an airforce and navy presence in the gulf of aden. Maybe something joint with the chinese.

Gwadar is already at a strategically important position, so we do not need any presence in Oman.

Well, if you talk about attacking Bharat through Yemen, it is ludicrous, as Yemen is further to the west. However, if one looks at it through security of oil supply and shippin lines, it can make sense.

Yemen is too far lol, having a air base in southern china won't be that bad, but looking at situation i don't think it will happen.

Pakistan using an air base in Yemen for targeting India would be same as India using an Air base in Singapore to target Pakistan.

well guys.. Chill I think having airbases is a good idea but there are certain backdrops of it as well. A lot of money is spent on transportation as well.
America spends $80 billion yearly in maintaining outer ports and airbases.
