I wouldn't call a kid carrying pounds of gold wondering around a rich kid. He is just an easy target of looting. Being rich not only means you have plenty of wealth, but also means it is yours to use and nobody can take it away from you.

Last I checked PM Khan was begging the Saudis, the Emiraties, the Chinese and the IMF all in the same tune regardless it was a loan (borrowed money) or a chanda (gift).

Of course he does have the authority to turn down and refuse any such aid being offered. That would break the dependency syndrome he laments, but it might cause other issues.

I don't disagree with you. They are all the same when it comes to loans and aid.

I am just highlighting the fact that PTI once called one of the previous PMs, "a beggar" because he went to the IMF for a loan. The PM hailing from that same party has now borrowed more than twice as much in just 11 months but they don't want to label him, "a beggar" for some reason?

Loans are meant to be 'repaid'. Aid doesn't. Huge difference. Countries giving loans, do get their money back with interest.
