Asim , perhaps this maybe not true in Pakistan . But in India and the US for example.-a simple claim to having murdered someone cannot be held as a valid reason to arrest and detain and prosecute anyone. they are questioned at best.. BUT there has to be proof of a murder committed in these and many other countries. There are many innocent people who claim to have killed someone in an attempt to notoriety.

So in this case Pakistan will not say a murder took place because that would make them have to answer , why are they harboring Indian terrorist ( mind you they not Pakistani terrorist) . How will the prosecution prove its case? a confession with Zero proof is not enough.

He has to be in INDIA, for the action to be taken against him. Unlike Dawood where Pakistan claims his absence from country, chotta rajan is absconding from India.

You can't be arrested for a confession when there is NO proof of the crime having taken place. and since Pakistan won't acknowledge it has taken place, even if it had been true... then there is no case to arrest him on this claim.

Btw, a few weeks ago there was an article about some TTP head being killed by the US drones.
