Agreement Done Myanmar will buy JF-17... Dunya news

This is business. Muslims of entire world are not our liability, we should only focus on ourselves. What we did to Afghanistan was about survival, if we didn't the bombing list would've included us. Besides if we don't sell them, other nations will.
If Pakistan dont raise voice against Burma for suppressing their muslim population, that itself is not tolerable though you can get over it , but selling burmese army these jets is outrageous and total beghairati and bey-hisi.

We are an islamic republic after all. Slaughter of muslims anywhere in the world should be condemned. But it seems human rights only apply to people when people being killed are not muslims.

.
Agree with your sentiments, but since there is a queue of suppliers waiting to fulfill this order, refusing to supply will make no difference.
Doesnt matter, not making deals with them would be symbolic gesture of not cooperating with such regime, any other countries are free to supply them jets.........The "hiras" and greediness has blinded our generals and government, i am surprised why there is no strong reaction from pakistanis against this deal.
We are muslims and we believe in God, if tomorrow innocent Muslims suffer at the hands of Burma's army due to these Jets, Our generals or any one who made this deal, will be answerable to Allah in the Akhirat.....and in this world, our qaum will be punished for this

yahuuuu..............good news for us...!!!

Having military ties with Burma gives us a 'tangible' say in regards to Rohingas. Making empty statements with no real pull won't cut it. Sorry but that's how international politics works.

Thats ridiculous. When you want to stop a genocide you don't give the oppressors more weapons to influence them. Did NATO give more weapons to Serbia to stop genocide of muslims? You influence them by NOT giving them weapons, like USA not giving us F-16s.

You are too emotional, drink some water. Pakistan should sell weapons to Burma to build strong defence ties with an emerging country. We owe nothing to Rohingas or Bangladeshis.

There are two ways to do this, either by war, or by influence. Giving these to Myanmar will give Pakistan influence, and unless you want Pakistan to declare war, this is the only way forward. Not selling will simply push them to find another supplier, and they'd continue on killing not worrying about any foreign pressure, especially from Pakistan.

@Horus is right, this is how geopolitics works. Either Pakistan pulls a NATO and bomb Myanmar, or Pakistan gains influence and uses it in a productive manner.

what you say is fair ?
Except do you think Burmese military generals will listen to you ?

Myanmar leadership has shown zero interest in listening to anybody

They will listen if the pressure is great enough. Your comment sounds like a finality, but finalities rarely occur in the real world.

Are the Burmese paying money?
If yes, then they can use it to make mince meat out of the Rohingyas for all that matters. Cant even fix their own homes and the usual suspects are crying crocodile rivers for what is an ethnic fight. Sadly, because the Rohingyas were Muslims and the Burmese are not.. its suddenly the next Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Yep! :D

@Oscar Take care of this troll.

We let him post, as a joke on the rest of the forum

flanker is a designation by a 3rd party who does not own the aircraft
jf-17 and fc-1 are names given by air force which own the aircraft
i assume there is no difference between jf-17 and fc-1

Do you also assume that the sun and the moon are the same?

Ok, give me an international relations precedent and i'll agree with you. Give me an example where any nation GAVE weapons to STOP a genocide.

It doesn't have to be weapons, it can be anything really. Weapons in this case are what Pakistan can only offer, but it's not new.

Western nations use defense and military deals to increase influence and promote their own agenda, or use them as supporting human rights. The US does it, the UK does it, France does it, it's German law, it's Swedish Law, the entire EU does it.

You're looking at it the wrong way. Let me ask you, how do you propose Pakistan stop these killings? They're certainly going to go on whether or not Pakistan gives these weapons. How would Pakistan go about influencing Myanmar/Burma to stop these attacks?

.
Jf-17 is the PAF customised FC-1. With tot obviously.

What I'm asking is, have they signed it for a version of fc1 or they will take jf17 as it is. Is there going to be ToT ?
Doing what? Designating it the fc-1? Because its just a name, and China owns 50% of the aircraft. Most nations have their own designation for fighters, simple example, the NATO designation for the Sukhoi-27/30 series is called the "flanker" series. they're literally the same fighter jets, the Sukhois aren't different fighters to the flankers.

JF 17 is a joint fighter of pakistan and china.. It was co developed aircraft. Pakistan has 58% of share in it.
