The difference is China reverse engineered USA technology and we can make it on our own. india has to import component because it cannot indigenously manufacture. Your inventory of Agni-5 is limited by your inventory of Russian guidance systems.

It is a goof-up by the journalist. Read carefully, stupid guy is trying to say that it is somewhat like an ICBM bcoz it can hit tagets in another continent.
"it is quasi-ICBM, as it can hit targets in other continents"

Therefore, Agni-5 is not quasi-ballistic but our defence journalists for sure are stupid
