According to my sources there r serious rifts in the party and practically altaf hussain have no hold on party what so ever.

but then how come the rabita committe got beaten up? and how come people started saying bhai humay maaf kaardein bhai humaay maaf kaardein?

I know farooq sattar was beaten his AO by MQM workers, they got mad when altaf hussain prayed "allah mujhe jahanam raseed kare" and the workers got angry on bhatta committee!

There r currently two types of people in MQM, the one's controlled by mohammad anwar from london and others who obey altaf hussain. Hammad siddiqui was sent to karachi to take care of this grouping issue by altaf and he was the one who provoked and supported workers to beat members of rabta committee.

These Rabta committee members have no real value, the real power and authority delegated by Altaf Hussain is to the sector incharge.
