It was an Indian movie, about a spy from R&AW. What could the theme be about?
Doesn't take a genius to figure it out. I for one would support the ban, a number of movies don't make it past the Japanese censor board because they are very strict about maligning their national objectives. The makers of 'Homefront', a popular first-person shooter had to remove all references to Korea in the game prior to it's Japanese release because they would not tolerate the common Japanese to play a Korean. For noobs, Koreans and Japanese have a complex history. Korea was a Japanese colony and now they hate each other.

i think films like Gadar, Main Hoon Na, and most of sunny deols films should be banned as they are outright spew hatred on pakistanis and play up patriotism by demonizing pakistanis. All if not most of the pakistani characters in these films will be negative. Films about pakistan such as Veer Zaara however, are more than welcome here! although they did show a few pakistanis as negative characters this was balanced out by the positively portrayed protagonists preity and rani.

I haven't seen Gadar yet and I agree that most of Sunny Deol's films are too anti-Pakistan. But Main Hoon Na is definitely not anti-Pakistan. Don't want to divulge too much, but just watch the whole movie. You'll be happy with it.
