That is the way you see it..... I see an Indian who is convicted for a crime want to get pardon from state..... Katju who was a judge before has a difference of opinion and want her to be released, he is entitled to have his own opinion on this case, and with his experience he also should know how the legal system in india works and what are the do's or dont's.......

On medical ground and looking at her age i support her release.........

DuDe, newspapers do not give the complete picture. People sitting in the courts are more experienced than you and me and they know their jobs well.. So lets not start blaming the courts and that too Indian Supreme Courts which has given lots of landmark judgements in the past and shall continue to do that in future too.

72 years old who? Muslim... 3rd rate citizen of India. Even animals such as dogs, monkeys, cows, even rats are better protected.

What's with this "Muslim" rubbish? Read about the case before talking. there was sympathy for her but arms & ammunition were found in her house, stored supposedly by Abu Salem who might have taken advantage of her. I believe a sympathetic view could have been taken but she was booked under TADA, that's a tough anti-terror law. Happens.

You justifying the rights to speak up when someone is not agreeing with someone??? You just gave me a negative rating for it. Hypocrisy to its best.

the one negative rating i got was given to me by an indian TT (my mistake though) and i have to say indian TTs are very mature and don't abuse the power given to them . In-fact TTs from other countries are all good only some on the pak side misuse it.

PS: I feel this whole -ve rating thing shouldn't be allowed , they should just stick to +ve rating . Where can i make suggestion for reforms on this forum.
